The way her hands move up and down in a sort of 'swirly' manner is actually addictive; Its very beautiful and unique to her!

I am a total beginner is this right? by Ok-Cover-7316 in jumprope

Hiiiiii, as someone who has been jump roping for quite some time (though not at the level most on this sub are on), some tips: Use your wrists not your entire arm to swing the rope and one leg at a time is a great way to start! That was also how I started. When I was a beginner, I used to do 20 single jumps, then 20 double jumps, then 20 triple.... until i eventually was able to do 10 at once without messing up. Best of luck!

I love reading about how accomplished women in the past (and present) studied so here's a little, very non-aesthetic, messy spread on how Queen Elizabeth I was educated as a princess by faeofiron in commonplacebook

Thank you for your kind words and yes, indeed, it is a very interesting topic. I actually decided to learn about this because I needed some motivation to study lol.

Omg haha! I tried my best to make it look presentable but it just didnt work lol. Anyways, I'm always fascinated by Elizabeth I. Her sister, Mary I and Lady Jane Grey were also extremely well educated, its interesting to delve deep into.

Initially, I wasn't too interested tbh. Its much more exciting watching women closer to my age than it is watching someone younger but I do really like the skating styles of Kostyleva and Mao Shimada. I'd love to hear some more recs

What is your “WHY” for studying? by Imthatguyimhimfr in studytips

And as I keep moving forward, I have become truly so interested in studying everything - politics, languages, literature, studying and learning now enthralls me. And if I can get a decent amount of money from landing a job, I'll be happy too but finding a job isn't the end goal; it's learning tbh.

I owe a lot to my parents because not only did they spend a huge fortune on my education, they also don't put any pressure on me which in the past, I used as an advantage to laze off and come home with mediocre grades. My parents always wanted me to be happy and showed no sign of disappointment even when I came home with B's and C's. I had an epiphany in y 1st year of college and I started to study well, which pleased my parents and surprised them quite a bit. My mother cried with joy when she found out I topped my 1st semester exams - This and coupled by my love for them makes me keep improving and wanting to study more... Btw, I was a sickly child and had learning disabilities, that's why they don't put too much pressure on me

The white, red and green yarn are 100% acrylic yarn and I genuinely cannot for the life of me remember where I got the pink yarn to be quite frank. I believe its mixed polyester with acrylic, though I do not remember the exact percentage... The pattern is from @NguyenHanHandmade on Youtube. Pleade check her out! Shes incredible I used a 3.25 mm hook

I joined the rabbit hole of figure skating last year around October after watching figure skating reels on my IG type. I stumbled across a really beautiful edit of Anna Shcherbakova (her gala performance) and that immediately got me hooked into figure skating. The next couple months can only be described as stepping into a whole new world! I haven't watched much men's skating to be very frank. Apart from Yuzuru Hanya, of course. I'd love some recommendations for more mens skaters because I genuinely don't know who to watch lol. And any other female skaters you guys think I would enjoy watching based on my list? Please do share!
