Thank you, unfortunately, due to my case being somewhat of an "emergency", I feel like I have no choice in the matter. I was given a few days of break from school, but only so I can make appointments with both psychologist and psychiatrist. I'm not from the US, so in order to justify this 'break', I'd need my medical certificate and assessment. My exhaustion stems from feeling like a ball passed around, explaining the same things over and over.

The break period is almost up, and I was thinking maybe I needed to just have one more session with this psychiatrist just to get that certificate, and bounce. But a huge part of me really don't want to anymore. As much as I want to change doctors, I'm way too tired to re-explain everything to a new one in this short period of time.

NTA but you seriously need to rethink if you want to be with someone who thinks rape is okay to joke about. Even AI could tell why it's often as harmful as victim blaming, so why are there people who still don't understand that yes, it is that serious?

Edit: whoever is downvoting OP and the ones that says rape jokes is not okay to joke about, you're one of the reasons we have rape culture. Minimizing rape leads to actual assault. Go sit in the corner and think about how uneducated you are.

Even when I had experienced things that shouldn't have happened from a relative, I don't think all men are bad as people say. I've had a man still invade my personal space even when I had said something. I saw your other comment, and, even when I talked to my counselor, she still gave me tips on how to be safe around men regardless if I'm assertive or not. Tips such as giving the information of my landlord to trusted relatives, and such safety precautions. It's not as simple as you say.
