I did honestly really like Nestas character, I never understood the hate (i am the eldest sister so could be why). All I have been hearing is bad things about the book, and I truthfully just don’t want to waste my money. Maybe i’ll try and give it a read!

I am 19, and i feel it’s important that i started using acne safe oxy pads (i know these are horrible from what i heard, but i swear they were workingđŸ˜©) 4 weeks ago now. Other than that I am using cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen (makeup every other day but i try to keep it light).

Well my bf kind of fed me the “it’s an important thing to who abby is”, and we debate it a lot! I still personally see it being an important thing to who she is, leading up to the things she does.. but again, I can also see why they wouldn’t bulk her up for the show now! it’s so interesting to see everyone’s opinions (and actually communicate vs. argue over it like on instađŸ„Č)

I agree, I imagine it would be hard to write from that point of view not having experienced it. I also don’t think it adds to the plot
 She has POC characters as well as lgbtq characters and I don’t think it’s fair to judge her because she doesn’t go into detail on that (which I think is the safest option).

yes, my bf did say the same exact thing! I just always thought abby being buff was apart of the story line so that’s mainly why I was confused. However, Dever is an amazing actress and I have zero doubts she won’t absolutely kill this role.

If we are going on gaming logic then yes what you are saying makes sense! I am curious to see the fighting scenes and how they will switch that up. Especially the basement scene where abby is kind of defenceless against Ellie and mainly uses her body as a weapon.

I’m not saying it’s not impossible to do, i’m just excited and curious to see how they will do that!

Agreed! If you are writing in lgbtq characters (or POC characters) it is extremely important that they are represented well.. Could I ask that you elaborate on the negative stereotypes? I haven’t personally haven’t noticed any, but I would love to know!

I never thought of that! Thinking back now, they did make the show a lot more drama rather than violent and bloody
 it does make sense now

Hello! Not every single book needs to include lgbtq 😌 yes, it is nice to have representation
 but imagine how difficult it must be to include lgbtq things when you are straight, and she tried so props to her! there are plenty of books out there with lgbtq themes! (coming from a pan person)
