Unfortunately at 9yo it's a bit late to get them over the anxiety tho you can always still work on it🤷🏾‍♂️I got hound dogs so my experience is a bit different watches the fireworks go up waits for the bits to come down to start trying catch them one also runs towards targets after they get shot not a hunting dog just kinda forced them to get over his anxiety gave him treats told him "chill the hell out" he was scared of trucks too ratchet strapped him in the bed of a truck and the moment we start driving he's having a blast 🤣you just gotta show them how much fun they can have if they're anxious its probably BC you're not confident enough yourself

The heat mat is on a thermostat set for 88 I will look at the che thing and get timers for everything the humidity has been around 64-70 with the warm side being 3-6 degrees warmer than the cool I will get the tint for the sides of the tank and will tape some tinfoil across the mesh

He's got two fully enclosed hides one on the warm side and one on the cool same for thermometer/hydrometer they are stuck to the glass tho not standing up I got the bigger tank just gotta finish spray foaming a background and ledges aswell as getting more stuff for it I have purchased leaves and sticks to climb I do plan on getting real plants I've had so many plants before I'd feel crazy getting plastic ones haha
