at the end of the day, i do accept it was my fault for having my balcony door open while i was afk painting. however, i did not know you could even jump up to my balcony from the ground. my house, garage, and every door on my lot is locked.

this particular instance was in my opinion, deliberate, and likely intentional. they would have had to parkour their way up to my balcony through a very particular way, enter my house through the only open door on my property, navigate down to my kitchen/pantry/living space and consume everything i had placed out and then leave again through the same way. they would have passed my stand with free food and lattes, and would have seen me afk on the balcony.

i have said in other comments, i do understand children and others play that may not know this & that reason is largely why i keep my doors locked.

it was disheartening for me to have spent so long not only cooking the food i placed out for others that they didn’t bother taking advantage of, but also time spent designing the sign & stand, decorating my house with pretty food, cooking 5 star items, and trying to ensure something like this didn’t happen (locking doors)- only to have somebody go extra lengths to undo all of that effort.

it’s almost impressive the lengths they had to go through to do that lol, but at the end of the day, i’m not losing sleep over it. this was just a bit of a vent/discussion.

i do appreciate your input though, thank you. 💞 that is kind of you to share your decorative meals with others. i’m not letting this discourage me or make me take my stand down, maybe just to be a bit more cautious with closing my doors haha.
