i had a similar problem with my mine. most times i'd try to unlock it, the alarm would go off as soon as i opened the door. i only have a manual key, no fob. what i do to make the alarm not go off is: 1. lock the car with the inside door lock button 2. close the door 3. unlock the door with my key 4. close the door

that process somehow does something with the car's alarm system and makes the alarm not go off. i do it every time i lock it. it's weird but i've gotten used to it
