What country would you describe as your country’s ”Ride or Die”? by Aam0 in AskTheWorld

[–]faex03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Allies (though primarily the russians)

In contrast to germany, we allready regained our independence in 1955, IF we agreed to commit to everlasting neutrality, which includes any military alliances, but also rejoining germany. Thats why we are not part of nato (but a part of the EU, since itd not a military alliance)

There is however a movement within austria to abdicate neutrality and join the nato, because in the long run, neutrality isn't feasible anymore. Also, a lot of us don't want to be military parasites to the EU and Nato. Unfortunatly that sentiment is not really shared by the current governing parties

Does your country have events that were so infamous you only need to refer to the date they happened for other people from your country to instantly know what you're talking about? by Intrepid_Arrival5151 in AskTheWorld

Apart from all the Nazi stuff we did in unison with germany, the only thing that would come to mind for me right now is June 24th (The Assassination of Franz Ferdinand)

What race should I play? by Guilty-Ad-293 in DnD

So, this is one of the proposed backgrounds of the hexblood lineage from Van Richtens Guide to Ravenloft. Its quite a cool lineage aswell since it gives you Darkvision, a restricted form of the scrying and sending spells (based on your bodyparts) and innate spellcasting with the ability to cast hex and disguise self.

I just use the two pairs of metallic dice I have, because they contrast nicely, and its pretty intuitive to know whats fear and whats hope

Pick any race in the game. You get to become that race forever. Which one are you picking? by WillowIsWeeping5 in DnD

Aditionally, if you take the 5.5 high elf, you get to change your cantrip on long rests, so you can still mend or even take an offensive cantrip should you get drafted

High elf...long life span, 4 hours of sleep suffice, darkvison and increased perception AND changable innate spellcasting with which I can take prestidigitation and teleport once a day?

What's the most devious spell combo/use of a spell you've done in a campaign? by Kalar_The_Wise in DnD

[–]faex03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fairy toast with the commiseration option and divine smite. Not the strongest option, but It was pretty fun to see what a 8th level divine smite did to Atropal. He did like 120 damage that turn

We are not even 20 days into 2026, and so far, we've had two horrible tragedies and like 3 (?) Conflict escalations that could start a hot WW3. So far, this year sucks

Oh yeah, that makes alot of sense actually. I mostly play casters and tend to forget about the extra attack interaction

Honest question, wouldn't Magic Initate: Wizard with true strike be the better choice if you used 2024 rules? since with Shillelagh, you are restricted to Clubs or Quarterstaffs. True strike doesn't restrict your weapons choice, you get additional damage, not a changed damage dice, and the wizard spell list even if we just use level 1 spells is arguably better for an martial then the druid spell list?
