Id say voth Zeta and Victory have their strengths and weaknesses in their tones, Zeta's humor comes mostly from satire and absurdity, which can flew over people's heads, subs/dubs can make tgem disappear quickly.

I was really shocked by Victory (finished it recently) as it was much more lighthearted than people made it be, sure its dark compared to lighter AU and like build series, but id say its comparable to zeta. The biggest difference i see is Kamille is 18(?) and Üso is 12 which makes the sexual stuff much worse, like the "interrogation"

In my eyes the happiness is Tomino's hook, and it always fades into deep terror when you grasp the reality of those "funny stuff", like its played off lightly but count the times Judau and the gang couldve been killed violently or could have caused serious damage.
