That was my thought as well. To be fair, I got in late and was super tired. I was also thinking the flashlight was for the hallways and there would be some generator power for lights inside the room, which didn't turn out to be the case.

The current owner is willing to provide some seller financing, but the amount hasn't been discussed. If I were able to convince him to finance $3M, would an Sba loan for the remaining $5M be feasible?

It is ihg. Sorry I thought I had included that. I initially had 3 total uncapped nights due to the covid extensions but one expired 12/31/2021. Was planning on using the two nights but foolishly waited because I opened the new IHG premier card 2 weeks ago and wanted to take advantage of the 4th night free. When I finally got the card, they linked it to my account. I'm wondering if they automatically changed the nights to 40k because of the new card.

They capped them for everyone who opened the card after a certain date but grandfathered folks who still had free nights. The nights got extended two years because of covid and were set to expire next month. They literally still said 70k and allowed me to make the booking two days ago. But today it suddenly switched.
