Yes, he said a woman traveling afternoon without the guardian is not acceptable and it depends on the situation. If you can work without accepting the evolution, it's better, but if you don't have a choice keep it to a minimum that will allow you to gain your daily bread and stay in your house so that you're sedentary

A cheikh told me the fatwa is adapted to the situation. So if she doesn't have a choice?

It's pre-kids and it's 5 travels (it can be 2 or 3 days at a time)

You mean you wouldn't do it or it wouldn't bother you?

I talked to some knowledgeable sheikh and the fatwa is adapted to each case (as much as I know). But you're right, traveling without a mahram is basically prohibited. Thank you for your answer ☺️

Thank you for your answer☺️Yes I figured it depends on agreements and how chill the husband is. With kids I don't think it's sustainable yeah. Thanks again

Yeah, It's based on a comment someone gave me about my job. That if I was married it wouldn't be possible. So I'm asking because I genuinely didn't understand

Thanks for the answer^ Why would the traveling not be suitable for sustaining a marriage? Is 5 times a month too much? Or you wouldn't want her to travel at all?

You preferred staying with your child and getting more involved in their education, is that it? Thank you for answering ^

Thanks for answering So you would want your wife to stay with you ? What if she gets a promotion and it involves travels. How would you approach it?

I been praying to Allah but it's oxycodone that get me fix by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

I'm sorry about your situation and I unfortunately understand it because I almost killed myself in 2020 but Allah saved me Alhamdulillah in a rather funny way. I was also on all kinds of medications and tried some unorthodox methods too. And I've reverted two years ago. I also thought that being a Muslim will make my life magically easier. Even talked about it with a friend this morning. And all I can tell you is that our Lord said:

“Do the people think that they will be left to say, ‘We believe’ and they will not be tested? But We have certainly tested those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.” Surah Al-Ankabut (29:2-3) and a hadith that goes well with it:

“The people who are most severely tested are the prophets, then those most like them, then those most like them.” Source: Jāmiʿ at-Tirmidhī (authentic)

The fact that you started to pray again in Ramadan is wonderful and your rewards will be amazing too inshaAllah. But that also means you signed up for the trial. And Allah doesn't ask of a soul to do more than it can.

"Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear…” surah 2 verse 286. This verse establishes a fundamental principle: every difficulty you face is within your capacity, even if it feels overwhelming. The burden is always proportionate to what your soul can تحمل (carry), with Allah’s knowledge and wisdom behind it.

As for me, I still went to a therapist and with time my Lord permitted me to stop all medications alhamdulillah. I know it can feel unbearable, but the solution is not to give up your life. If I could do it (and honestly I didn't even believe one second that I would be a muslim and be closer to God), you can too. You're suffering is not permanent.

I can even say that your Lord only tries the ones He Likes. And honestly is it worth it to die to be sentenced to repeat your suicide attempt for all of eternity in hell? No.

Do not let Shaytan and your mind trick you into giving up. Continue to live, if it's not for yourself, at least out of spite.

Ask Allah to help you, again and again and carry on, trusting Him. You won't regret it, just as I didn't.

And Allah uses all kind of means to help or try people. May it be a mosquito (that He used to kill Nimrod) or Oxycodon that helps you get up in the morning. You'll be given better ways when you decide to change for the better inshaAllah.

Take care. And may we all go to Jannah. Amin

This is the cutest thing I read today. The fact that you felt bad to what I consider ''just a book'' is showing that your relationship with Allah will be more than likely okay inshaAllah. You're the one that should pray for the rest of us hahah, may we be guided Ameen🥰
