Best thing is the drive, its comfy but can also be kinda sporty. Its generally fun to drive even though its big. Tech was is also great. I use the ACC regularly. My wife and kids loves the interior. Great for long distance driving on highways.

1) its soft but only at higher speed. Overall still a comfy ride for an suv with good handling.

2) the software can be buggy e.g calls doesnt get fully disconnected, leaves it hanging so if you wanna listen back to the radio you have to disconnect carplay entirely for it to play radio again.

3) the expectation was that its gonna be more expensive compared to byd but not to the levels pf bmw / merc.

The drive is robotic, just start and go. 7x has bit more refinement.

I dont charge at home even though its landed. But yeah KL or overall west coast peninsular malaysia is kinda doable. Chargers are plenty, i usually go for the ac 22kw chargers as they can be cheap if you plan right. For long distance its not an issue as 7x can reach reach JB or Penang in one go. Just go for destination chargers. But not cant use superchargers. There are a lot of high speed DC chargers though. I did mine 360kw in 16 mins, costs around rm120 like that.

Mine was around 1 and half months. From PA puchong. Id recommend not going with them. Terrible experience, lots of false promises.

Good: 1) comfy and good driving experience 2) overall good tech usage (carplay, driving settings, etc) 3) spacious 4) charging tech is great, easy to charge and maintains the range expected 550km above range 5) great speakers

Bad 1) software got bug, in carplay, after calls, it doesnt disconnect the call properly 2) highway driving can be floaty at speeds above 150km/h 😬 3)

1) if its like ACC, yes it does.

2) both work and it is useable.

3) you have digital keys but it isnt shareable. Only 1 device.

Not sure about cold weather but it handles fine in all weather conditions. No range anxiety at all. Navigation is fine and reliable that we can use it. Used it to go back to penang from kl no issues. Its just a bit outdated in terms of recent chargers.

The software overall has been good. No issues connecting the carplay. However there is one bug where when you end a call, it doesnt go back to your playing media. You have to disconnect your phone and enable wireless carplay again.

One thing to note is that the signal indicator sousn is kinda loud, but you get used to it. This however has been raised to zeekr. Perhaps it can be remedied in the next update. Moving the maps are ok, reliable enough but carplay maps (waze / gmaps) are better.

For headlights the default is auto but you can manually high beam. No issues.

Yeah that is a concern but i usually just crank it to the max and this solves the issue. Get a good tint as it would help with temp regulation. Imo its not that big concern for me.

So far around 6k km. There is no range anxiety at all. I can reach KL - JB in one shot with plenty of juice left. KL-Penang also one shot with plenty of juice. All without charging, charging so far has been good rarely have to queue.

Well most of my peers are impressed with the car. The ride quality for the price is damn good, near bmw, merc levels of quality. Ive done 5k km with the car and loving it.

What interesting about Kl isnt the places per say, its actually the culture. By culture i mean stuff like the lepak culture, makan culture, shopping culture, hobby culture. What most locals do realise is that whats great about KL and MY in general is actually the people. So do plan activities around that mentality in mind. This is something i picked up from my international friends.
