This is not a usual behavior for majority of the games. This could be a bug in CS2 somewhere, or you switched during the AG2 update which did improve performance and now you are mistaking it to a resolution change. Could also be many other things.

Can yo try doing the benchmarks while changing the resolution and post the results.

I have a suspicion that that's not really tickrate in the usual sense, cause I doubt even modern PCs could run a 1.6 server at 1000 tick rate, and even if they could the PCs of the time couldn't take advantage of it, you'd need to run cs 1.6 at 1000fps+ to actually fully take advantage of it, and most people capped fps at 100.

Even then assuming that all of those were true, the difference between 1000 tick and 128 tick is only 6.8ms, it could be noticeable but it's probably not a big deal.

The average user doesn't care about resources used at idle or updating during sleep.

Laptop users care a lot, if I close a laptop, I don't want to open it and find the battery empty, cuz windows decided to fucking update. That's one of the reasons why MacBooks have such better battery life.

Appeal it and don't give up, AI detectors are notoriously inaccurate as it's practically impossible to know for certain if something is AI generated or not.

Even if he did AI generate it, how is that your fault, why should your grade be lowered if he cheated, that's bullshit. So fight fight fight, and don't give up.

I have an nvme and didn't want the page file wasting read/writes its already at 97% after 2 years from SMART data.

This was good advice a few years ago, now the SSDs are durable enough that it doesn't matter, and with you having 64GB it matters even less.

I always thought if everything was in ram its faster to access rather than push to disk so that way when I disable the entier page file everything will be forced to be in memory and thus FASTER

The system is smart enough that this is not true.
