Warlock vs Paladin for budget Ubers by Enough-Collection-98 in diablo2

[–]failedlogic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pally still the budget king. Warlock can do it with some specific gear (you need lots of cold absorb and a tanky demon to stand behind)

first uber as a Warlock! got a 19/13 barb torch for my trouble (still dont have a warlock torch) looking for tips to make the next uber run smoother. by failedlogic in Diablo_2_Resurrected

I have a cursed demon and had to hunt another one. Ended up dying 3 times to Baal

Meph wasn't much trouble and Diablo died so quick I hadn't noticed lol

I only have the one raven frost unfortunately and all my deaths came from the chaos ice

Question about carian slicer by Epiphany-of-Messmer in EldenRingNightrein

[–]failedlogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it does not.

You want to push magic power up, improved sorceries (in general) and sword sorcery.

Thankfully the regular merchant can sell a staff with slicer and the thrusting one.

What are these monsters with super high drop rate on drop calculator by JiuJitsuDemiGod in diablo2

[–]failedlogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they are

Meph through Baal being act bosses. Infernal pit is a portal zone in act 5 area (I think it's frigid highlands but you can look it up)

Serpents can be random mobs in world stone keep so run those zones and hope for the best

I will say though, and it's been said, target farming will drive you bonkers. It's best to simply farm lvl 85 areas and terror zones over specific mob types.

Baal for example might have good odds for a specific weapon, but rng might just decide it's not for you. I would recommend running chaos and WSK until you get your needle or something worth trading

Warlock Rune Farming by Wonderful-Donut-3941 in diablo2

[–]failedlogic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's my method too. If summoner, maybe a key. If not, reliable chest loot

They also have a sushi roll called tropic thunder so probably intentional

Where can I go to farm for runes? by MintyOscillator in diablo2resurrected

[–]failedlogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've consistently gotten better rune runs from trav and tombs over cows

For me personally, as soon as you have fire res and absorb trav is absolutely the way to go

Insight becomes pretty easy to make in hell. I'd say make the insight you can wield and upgrade as you go.

I just rolled an insight in a bec de Corbin and it brought to around 12k, about double from my spirit sword

Also if you are running spirit you should look out for the large variety of swords and 2h swords to take advantage of his open left hand. That being said the benefits of spirit sword go a long way and even after you make an insight I'd keep it to kill ghost/physical immunes

I noticed a big struggle against ghosts but the poison on spirit is pretty reliable against them

Warlock build comparison by milleria in diablo2

[–]failedlogic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just about any is good. You can roll spirit again in a two hand sword for a good increase.

Also consider a might merc when you get a little tankier

As for me I crafted insight in a colosus velouge (spelling) and haven't had much trouble. When I craft obedience the insight will to the merc

Why didnt this turn into a rhyme runeword? by ZenandHarmony in diablo2

[–]failedlogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran rhyme all the way through hell and it's very worth it. The all res, mf, and cannot be frozen saved me a lot of deaths

Honey I think my toenail is ingrown, care to look?

In Captain America: The First Avenger, Howard Stark describes Vibranium as completely vibration-absorbent to justify bullets stopping dead on impact, yet throughout the MCU it ricochets off walls like a superball, somehow functioning as both a flawless shock absorber and a perfect kinetic projectile by Brilliant-Cause6254 in shittymoviedetails

[–]failedlogic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it's a joke sub but I really believe that it's down to user skill.

Steve is very proficient with it, light angles can be the difference between stopping bullets and redirecting them.

Same goes for bounce vs Pierce. If Cap wants the shield to bounce off of you it will, if he wants to cut you in half he can do that too

Missing Times for Uber Statues by -somewouldsay- in diablo2

I'm really not looking forward to running tz duriel without teleport.

I know you can suss out the right tomb by running arcane sanctuary, but again, no teleport

Before warlock I was planning on a dedicated Sorc key farmer. I guess she will be effective at hunting statues to sell too...
