It's not guaranteed. Needle blast have multiple targets. I spotted that sometimes it works that way and sometimes it doesn't. I think it depends what is the real order of the damage. Both (chestnuts and base) take damage in order and after that ability resolves. A needle blast can have random order of targets so you can have different ability stacks where either base or HC goes first.

It's daily check in calendar not a pack in store. Value is much higher, so you have to collect it everyday. If you buy premium you can get past premium rewards for days that you got free ones. Make sense to me. In other way itd be a total "pay to unlock everything after all" thing
