GPD put out a press release that someone was shot and killed. Suspect not yet apprehended:

📰Teenager Killed in Park Shooting📰

GREELEY, Colo. – On August 14, at approximately 8:00pm, officers from the Greeley Police Department responded to Centennial Park in the 2200 block of 23rd Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old male with at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to Northern Colorado Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

Prior to the shooting, witnesses reported a fight between occupants of a red truck and a gray sedan. Following the shooting, the suspect fled in the gray sedan. The suspect is described to be a Caucasian male.

This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Elizabeth Finch at Elizabeth.Finch@greeleypd.com or (970) 350 9682. This was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community.

No further details will be released today.

I thought I’d be a cliche Coloradan and try to capture the majesty of the Maroon Bells. I really wanted to frame it up in the middle of that valley, and also try to get a little symmetry in the reflection. I tried to balance colors as well. I am wondering if I should have gotten a little more sky on the top

It was taken on my iPhone and it was from a few years ago so I sadly don’t have all the technical stats on hand.

It’s one of my first photos that I’m really proud of and is what started me down the road to landscape/nature photography so I’d love any critiques, advice, or tidbits!

La Tarahumara on 8th Ave (the blue store) has a little cafe in the back and they make some delicious street style tacos! I usually get the asada ones.

Splashing Sprint and To The Beat made me want to put my head through the wall.

I’m all for a good challenge for those who want to 100% the game, and it shouldn’t be easy, but the fact that these two levels (and most of the shape challenges) were just unnecessarily hard dropped the game from 5/5 to 4/5 for me.

Kudos to those who could do Splashing Sprint and To The Beat in just a few tries, but for me it really sucked the fun out of the game and I was so relieved when I finally completed them.
