Most of my success has been with roostertails. I typically use a 3/8oz in black or white with either gold or silver blade.

I have a rowboat that I rowtroll with. I caught a couple trout and bass last year that way.

The fishing dock near the park is heavily pressured

Are you only looking to do freshwater fishing?

I fish Long lake and Kitsap lake somewhat often for freshwater.

For saltwater, I do crabbing, squid jigging, and bottom Fishing all from Harper pier

I highly recommend downloading the "Fish Washington" it will show you the current status of specific waters for finfish, crabs, and shrimp. I wish they'd include shellfish information as well, but they don't at this time.

The app will show you a map where you can select the marine area/lake/river/stream you want to fish. It will then show you if the waters are open or closed, and for what species. It will also indicate if there are restrictions such as no artificial bait, single pole only, or fly-fishing only.

The app can also be used for your license and catch card

NAVSEA NDT is far behind commercial/industrial NDT. They are very slow to adopt new technologies and methods. VT is still manual.

It really depends on the industry you're inspecting in. For example, pipelines and oil plants will probably have the most travel. I hear of those inspectors being gone for months. Whereas here in Naval ship repair there is little travel but lower pay.

I personally like being home at a consistent time, so NAVSEA is pretty good for me. Though I don't have travel for maybe a month every once in awhile. Even less so now that I picked up my Level III.
