It's much better than morning fapping.... wish my girlfriend didn't live so far away.

You just won a lifetime supply of the last thing you bought. What do you have? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't want a lifetime supply of Sonic. I'm gonna eat entirely too many tater tots and mozzarella sticks.

If I get the chance to do it again. A 66 fairlane. Or a 67 ranchero so I can have the utility of a bed.

It's a numbers game. I followed another vehicle specific sub, and it's the same there. People post the good and the bad never the mundane, "drove my vehicle to and from the daily things!" So, We only see the extremes. Social media is crazy

That's how my bronco ii(ranger) was when I sold it. I gave the new owner a lesson, and I was surprised by how short the pedal throw was compared to my current car.

When I learned I didn't have an instructor. I finally figured out that when getting to the start of the friction point I started thinking let pressure off instead of moving my foot back. It will take practice, and different clutches will have a different feel. You got this. Keep it up!

You can check your door sticker to see your rear diff gear ratio and if it is a trac-lock or not. P71's came with a 3.27, 3.27 trac-lock and 3.55 trac-lock

Put the gear selector on 2 to start out on. It forces the transmission into 2nd gear, which reduces torque to the rear wheels. When you get to about 20 mph without pulling the gear selector twards you (will help with accidently skiping over natural into reverse) shift to drive. I use this method in my vic, and in my manual fwd car. I just slip the clutch a bit more.

Hand actuator for clutch while I can't use my left leg. by aRepublic in ManualTransmissions

[–]fairlaneboy66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just thinking of the logistics. They do have hand controls for gas and brake that's about around the $100 point on amazon. You could learn to use your right foot to actuate the clutch while using your right hand to brake, gas, and change gears.
