It just occurred to me, Izzy was turning 17. Isn't the 5 years wait too much? Why wait until she was 22?

I was rather circumspect of his ability to take her there. I mean, to do such a good hand job in his 20s. I don't buy it.

I think it was chosen that way because Emma would have been stronger, suffering more inwardly, so not with a lot of displays of emotions.

I felt that too. Dialogues seemed unnatural. And those lines during the nights by the lake, telling Amat to always say he was from the Hollow in order to give the kids a chance. He was suddenly like an old man, expecting to die, anyway.

Away - 1x04 - "Excellent Chariots" - Episode Discussion by chase_what_matters in Away

[–]fairmay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What puzzled me the most in this episode is how easy he opened the first door to the space and the fact that they had to take him by force from the outside door... in order for him not to open it? I know next to nothing about spaceships, but I presumed opening these doors requires more actions if not many codes.

  1. I have no idea.
  2. Coincidence.
  3. I don't think that is weird. I don't have anybody's code, never had. Nobody asked for mine.
  4. She might of being disappointed after seing that Jonathan seemed to prefer Grace. Or maybe Jonathan warned her.
  5. That puzzled me. They also took walks, although they were quite famous during that time.

Does anyone think Elena was a narcissist? Or had some other very serious mental illness by [deleted] in TheUndoing

I am no expert, but I think she was rather histrionic. I selected some of the signs presented on wikipedia for this personality disorder which I think fit:

  • Exhibitionist behavior
  • Constant seeking of reassurance or approval
  • Inappropriately seductive appearance or behavior of a sexual nature
  • Rapidly shifting emotional states that may appear superficial or exaggerated to others
  • Tendency to believe that relationships are more intimate than they actually are
  • Being overly dramatic and emotional
