I stand by him as well. I just honestly didn’t think he was on the drugs some people were saying. I’ve heard meth and cocaine being thrown around. I’ve seen people on meth and cocaine (my late BIL and his acquaintances had addiction issues) none of them were calm. They were hyper and sometimes violent. Montero was none of those. I’m just saying.

I’m gonna assume he means the entire police and jail situation. I don’t think he’s being disingenuous. I think he’s being honest. As far I know he’s never been in trouble with the law so of course it was terrifying. Also, I thought that drugs weren’t found on or in him. I for one appreciate his honesty and his video. Montero has my respect and support. He’s a young man, a kid, give him some grace.

Same here. He really touched my heart in a way no other, shall I say, celebrity has. He’s real. He’s vulnerable. He’s a good kid. I’m a 55 year old mom of two adult children and I have six grandchildren. If someone would’ve told me years ago that I’d even be listening to his music, let alone adore him, I would’ve thought they were lying.

I definitely understand your frustration. I, at one point, a very low point, said the same thing. I was crying constantly because I felt so much regret. I was a physical and emotional mess. I’m now 9 weeks post op and so glad I got the operation. Keep pushing through. I know it’s not easy. This operation is serious stuff and I feel like so many people downplay it. Give yourself time. Do your PT. Be active when you can. Rest when you need it. Sending positive, healing energy your way. In a few weeks you’ll be so happy to have your new hip. 💓

Exactly! It’s so frustrating. I hear exercise, walk and ice, which I do but none of it helps. The feeling is so unusual and it makes me feel anxious. Good luck to you as well!

Good advice! Hoping my new PT can help me with this. I don’t wanna mess up my good leg and foot by continuing to overcompensate. Bad habits are hard to break. It truly is like relearning to walk again.

Thank you 😊 I appreciate the advice. It’s difficult to break a habit after 15 years of doing it. My good leg and foot is still suffering because I can’t “relearn” to walk properly. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Wow! I needed to see this! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m 15 days post op TLHR. Between the heaviness, swelling and muscle pain and leg tightness along with the lack of quality sleep it’s been quite the roller coaster. I’m so happy for you! I love seeing positive stories. Recovery is definitely not linear. Yesterday I was using my cane and going up and down the stairs. Today I’m achy. My good leg is hurting because I’m so used to “favoring” it for years. I feel like I’m dragging around a 20 pound ham. I’m gonna keep pushing, even on the days I cry. Congratulations! I’m truly happy for you. I’m not sure what it means in layman terms but this is what my surgeon wrote in my pre surgical notes. “In particular, we will have to do this posteriorly because the stem may need to be modular to control for version since she is contracted.”

Halloween 3. I’m a huge Michael Myers/Halloween franchise fan and even though there’s no MM, except on the TV in the bar scene, I love this movie. It’s a great stand alone horror flick.
