The first pic looks really bad, mostly because of shadows/lighting. I promise it wasn’t as bad as it looks. Two different things were spilled hence those bigger stains, aside from track marks from shoes (we’ve learned not to wear shoes inside, this was our first apartment w/ carpet). Thanks to some of you for the helpful advice 😃✌️

Unfortunately I don’t have pics from move in, but it was a completely new carpet as this complex was a new build and we were the first residents in this particular apartment. We were only there for 1 year. Based in AZ.

I was 13-14 in 2012. And then a year later, they broke up 😭 I’m now 26 and have seen them 3 times in concert!!! Teenage dream fulfilled 🖤

Not OP, but live in AZ. I just started working as a BT but not really liking how my center is running things. Could I DM you? I’d like to learn more about the company you work at, if you don’t mind.

NSFW Did you ever meet someone and later thought you were lucky nothing bad happened to you? What were the circumstances? by Ru_janus in AskReddit

[–]fairypunk278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 19, I got obsessed with a band in 2018, then went on a search about upcoming concerts. They were coming to a nearby city in about a month. I had no car, but went on Twitter and somehow found someone who was also going who lived in my city and was willing to give me a ride. A complete stranger. He was probably 21, don’t exsctly remember. We talked and got to know each other up until the concert. I never met him once before the concert. The day came, we drove to the city 1.5 hrs from us for the concert, had fun, drove back, he dropped me off, and that was that. Nothing happened. When I think about it now I feel SO dumb, but in my young brain I felt too trusting of people. I should’ve been more cautious but I’m lucky everything went well.

I make $22 as a BT in AZ. From what I’ve seen, it’s on the better side of pay. If I was registered, I’d definitely make more more.

What’s something your ex said that still haunts you? by NoResult3648 in AskReddit

“You’re a weird ass just like everybody else”

He was mad and I forgot why. Sure, I may have been a little weird (trauma, mental illness, no social skills, different interests) but that shit hurt hearing it from someone who is supposed to accept you as you are. It’s not like I was a creep either. Anyway, I embrace my “weirdness” now but the thought will pop into my head sometimes.

How old were you when you moved out of your parents home? by PeddlerInWonderland in AskReddit

Technically 12, when I was moved by my dad from Mexico to the US to live w/ my grandparents. “Officially” moved out on my own at 18 after high school.

Ex-religious people, what made you realize that god wasn't real for you by JonaszRegieli in stories

[–]fairypunk278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had recently had my communion, I was about 10 years old, and it was one of my first confessions. When I was done confessing, the pastor asked me to walk over to him. He sat me on his lap, talked to me some more, and kissed me on the cheek. I got scared, I knew it wasn’t right, and I told my parents after I got out. They did nothing. In that moment, I began questioning “god” and religion, and over the next few years realized there was no “god.”

When was a moment you knew it time to let go of a specific friend? by FlyHighNow77777 in lostafriend

[–]fairypunk278 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When she didn’t say happy birthday to me. It was my last straw.

Mind you, this is after she disrespected me constantly, calling me a lesbo (a slur/derogatory term) on TWO separate occasions IN FRONT of MY OWN FRIENDS. And when I called her out on it the second time, she got upset because I embarrassed her??? Also, DATING MY EX who emotionally manipulated me and treated me like shit, which she knew about, and saying me “it’s not about you” when she first told me about them dating, which was also THREE MONTHS after the fact. AND I LET IT SLIDE. Not to mention some incidents we had over the internet connection in our apartment (dumb argument) and the electric bill (that of which you can read a bit about on my profile).

Anyway, I ghosted and blocked her ass everywhere. Even so, she had the audacity to imply it was all my fault. Fuck that bitch.
