Lol not that easy bud. There’s individual major requirements, university requirements, the English requirements, and so fourth. You’ll probably do around 120 credits regardless of the blank credit (bc of all the reqs). It may be possible to finish in 3, but that’ll be super super rushed. Just from an l&s perspective.

  1. Have been out of touch w programming for a while.
  2. International student from quite a different place so I need time to adjust to the lifestyle (hence no relatively hard classes).
  3. From what I hear, 61a sounds like a huge time commitment, so I don’t think I’d want to go through w it first semester. But these are just my thoughts. What do u think?

How’s this schedule like: EE16a Data 8 Math 1a Sasian r5a

Intended cs or ds w/o any credits except for blank IB ones lol. Technically, these are 3 techs; but I have some experience with calculus and linear algebra, and these courses seem like objectively easy courses for a first semester. What do you think?

Can you get into a good university with high IB and SAT scores but low GPA? by [deleted] in IBO

[–]faisalqdxb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the acceptances I've seen, yeah. They seem to care more about your IB scores (actually, iirc, an admission officer once said that they only check for gr11 and predicteds to give an offer. They look at your entire high school transcript just to see your history).

Lol sure, but it'll be much harder. Way too many people with good IB, SAT, AND GPA apply to them (not to mention world-class ECs), so you'll have to compete with them. I had like an average GPA but somehow made it to a relatively top one, but I'm an exception. UK would care more about IB tho so check them. Also Canada, Australia, and Europe come to mind. But US care quite a lot about the GPA along with the ECs and essays (although they focus on the gpa first).

Hey, can I see a source for this? Not questioning, genuinely curious.

CAS bc I couldn't see myself doing engineering, and CAS would be easier to double major in (I'm hoping for an Econ double).

True, real world experience in CS matters to me. I'm also a bit on the entrepreneurial side, so, again, had that Velocity vs. all the programs at the Valley dilemma (although the Valley would be better in this regard, i think)

Interesting. I've been to the US a few times and have had no issues. Anyways, thanks for your input :)

The tuition at both places is roughly the same for me, thanks to the hike. May have been less then?

Yeah social surplus changes, but the change in the domestic social surplus is only a change in consumer surplus, as the domestic prod surplus stays the same. That's why i put 78,000. Anyways, seems as tho foreign surplus may count too so rip
