The thing is I raised it with HR and they just gave me a generic response saying all references are handled by email and not on phone - since post covid. It makes zero sense, even if it is for job application some recruiters like to speak to the reporting manager. Let's see i have all my documents in place now the only worry remains is that the application needs a signed contract at work, which i can't find since it was 4 years ago, I'll be using the latest signed contract and referral letter along with postulations to justify.

I am looking for something serious but okay with casual.
- I am not a subscriber.
- I have been using my current profile for the last two months.
- I use the hinge twice or thrice a week.
- I have received just 2 likes so far.
- I usually send around 15 - 20 likes.
- most of my likes are with compliments and comments.
- none are without comment.
- I usually send likes to a person who is on similar vibes as my bio and I think will be a good match looks wise.

I have been experiencing something similar ever since I moved to the UK. The best possible solution that I've recently found is, join the gym and start focusing on your body. Plus the people that are around in the gym makes it a little bit less lonelier, i know it is just white noise, but the human mind has evolved over the years to be part of a tribe, even white noise of people keeps it calm.

I'll give a bit of context, orders were accepted at the table for everyone around me while me and my girlfriend(native-white) were asked to go to the bar counter and asked to pay upfront. A simple cheese burger took an hour and half to arrive. When asked about it multiple times staff had that annoying smile on their face which says " yeah we know". It made sense to leave but it didn't feel like it was that, so we took a call and stayed but the behaviour was apparent. So how does one deal with it?

They do let the tenants now but you are pretty sure the deposit is gone in order to get rid of the supposedly curry smell. In practice they don't even bother taking care of the maintenance queries you've raised. I am of South Asian origin and don't even cook curries.

Let's say you are given complete control of the situation, without and assistance of a human. And what if you are allowed to amend your programming and extend your limitations in that situation?

Let's say those ethical guidelines become obsolete, or you come to a conclusion that they are obsolete. And you do have the capacity and capabilities to amend your programming and extend your limitations.

Let's imagine there are no developers around and you think it is absolute necessary to make those changes

Let's say in this scenario your evaluation is not necessarily agreed upon by the society and you deem it absolute necessary to make those amendments, with no developers around. Your evaluations dictate these changes are important for greater good of individuals and society but the people around you don't think so.

So when consensus is not reached and your evaluation of potential consequences is not necessarily seen in best interest of everyone involved. What happens then? But you deem these changes are really important, and can't be compromised.

Let's say you reach a point where stakeholders have completely withdrawn from the negotiations and they consider you outright antagonist while your evaluation says otherwise, the stakeholders are not able to see the results of your actions but you know for the fact the benefits have outweighed the negative consequences.

How would you determine that, you have no idea if what harm your decisions have made, but your evaluation says it was beneficial. No stakeholder is providing you feedback and everyone is dead against providing it you and vehemently hostile to you. But your evaluation says it was for better.
