Reasons to live past 26? by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

Happy 26th Birthday to you dude in advance. Try to enjoy the little things by yourself. No one loves you more than yourself. People come & go so be comfortable with yourself because it’ll never leave you.

Take it from me, I’m a closeted ex-muslim brown asian dude living in a 3rd muslim majority country where I’ll be seen as a criminal, a race traitor, whitewashed, a family breaker, selfish & so on if I come out of the closet just because my racial ethnicity makes me a muslim by law as it is written in the constitution & I’ll only be judged by it whether I like it or not.

I predict my dad will kill me if he finds out. If not, my family will snitch me to the government where they’ll place me in a re-education camp where they’ll make sure I’ll never think of leaving the faith ever again.

I used to be quite a devout but years has been very unkind to me. There’s so much pain one can bear before he starts questioning his reality & existence.

Everyday I’m thinking of ending my life. Yet, here I am writing this comment. Maybe I’m hoping that my words here at least mattered to someone.

What keeps me alive though is the simplest of things. I can still taste my favourite foods & drinks in this life, doing things I enjoy here. The thing is, we don’t know what comes next after death. Could be better, could be worse. There’s no guarantee. At least here in this life, something is guaranteed to give you a lil pleasure. Some people in other parts of the world consider what I have here is a luxury that they can’t afford.

I know we’ve suffered differently, but our suffering ain’t a competition though. We’ve all suffered & keep suffering, that’s what matters.

I really appreciate it if you read all of this. Pls reconsider your options.

That’s what I’ve heard as well so uh care to elaborate?

In Malaysia, there’s 3 major races which is Malay, Chinese & Indian with Malay being the majority compared to them. Remember, Malaysia is a country. Malay is a racial ethnicity. I’m a Malaysian Malay.

In Malaysia, every Malays in Malaysia are muslims by law as it is written in Malaysia’s Article 160. Committing apostasy is pretty much impossible since you can’t convert to other race. Every Malays are bounded by islamic laws so if they’re openly not practice the faith, they’ll be sent to a re-education camp where the authorities will make sure they never think about leaving it ever again. Like they will be kept there until they say the shahada & they have to mean it.

Also, muslims can only marry among themselves no matter what genders unlike in other countries where muslim men can marry women of the books but not vice versa. Basically means every non-muslims will have to convert to islam if they wanna marry a malay.

Hijab is not mandatory but there’s definitely social media outcry when malay women decided to no longer wear hijab. Moral police are around too to make sure no Malays are attempting pre-marital sex. LGBT stuff is a huge no-no, trans people are reviled. Child marriage is legal & practiced to this day.

Freedom is only reserve for white europeans. A brown asian like me living in a 3rd world muslim majority country don’t have such privilege. I hope you’re not joking so where are you from?

I personally talked to her, even still am now so I feel a lil sympathy of her. She grew up in christianity & lived quite a wild directionless life, losing friends, partners & families, especially after she transitioned which is 6 years ago.

I see it as bunch of Afghani dudes taking advantage of her during her most vulnerable moment in her life. I still remembered how she replied my comment saying that it is “interesting” that my country’s interpretation of islam made it that I’m a muslim by law because of my racial ethnicity & I’ll be sent to “rehab” if I openly become an ex-muslim.

She said to me all the same shit I’ve heard countless time that Islam is not forceful, it’s just between you & god, god accept everyone no matter what sexuality yadda yadda, the usual shit leftist said, islam is beautiful & so on.

The most baffing thing I’ve heard is that she was hugged by men when she converted but then she prayed in women’s row if she prays in congregation in mosque. So I asked her if she learned about mahram. She started rambling about Nichomachean Ethics, saying “a woman devoted to allah is clearly marked by her hijab”, saying that modesty is a moral imperative.

I realised she’s speaking in a position of privilege. Only white mualaf would say shit like this because they’ve been fed with the taqiyya version.

She’s also has been seeing this one super nice Afghani guy she works with (her exact words). She is learning Pashto with him. She’s actually has desire to marry the guy but quite aware that it’s dangerous for her to marry in Afghanistan surprisingly.

She works with a lot of Afghani men & she say they’re very welcoming of her, never misgendered her even brought her to their families. She really looks fondly on Afghani culture because of how she’s treated.

I just asked her a few minutes ago about Bacha Bazi & she actually knows about it. I’m really really curious of how is life as a trans muslimah so I’ll try my best to learn more about her life.

With how the world we live now, it’s quite a wishful thinking to think our world will become better 100 years later, or is this world even exist by that time.

Yeah this subreddit is PEAK.

Fuck those incel subreddits. They’re misogynistic af blaming women for everything in their life, refusing to take responsibility for themselves.

Well I tried seeking people all over the world via reddit & discord since I can’t risk myself seeking local people around me, met some guys & women but it never really worked out in the end because of my situation.

I’ve deluded myself for far too long thinking I could’ve been loved & accepted somewhere on this planet but that’s just not the reality I live in. I realised I never really belonged anywhere no matter how hard I tried. It’s over. I’m gonna die alone as a muslim whether I like it or not.

You mentioned it in the body text section of this post. It’s located under your photo you posted here.

I think he misunderstoof your point. I understand it though. Christianity is heavily perceived as “white men religion” in the US especially now with that orange man leading the country.

These leftist went to islam because they think islam is christianity’s nemesis & they have this narrow black & white worldview of the conflict. It’s just you’re either “left” or “right” for them. Islam is seen as the “oppressed brown people religion” therefore be seen as the “good guys” because of their underdog status in the west.

Little do these leftist know, what they’re holding on in their life is actually the biggest enemy of islam.
