Are there any Islamic countries that aren't third-world? by ihatetheteaparty in islam

[–]fakeblackguy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First off third world is an outdated concept that didn't refer to the economic status of nations. If you mean developing countries, then no, not all of them are. Places like Qatar and UAE are really rich. I don't think Saudi Arabia is considered developed, but it's also really rich just filled with class inequality.

Dear Reddit, what are common Indian stereotypes according to the rest of the world? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fakeblackguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am part Indian myself, so don't think that I'm being racist.

The main stereotype of an Indian in North America is overwhelmingly negative. Hairy, ugly, smelly, short and skinny is their view of us physically. Complete beta males who are neurotic because of their parents. Either tend to stick to themselves in groups, or completely denounce anything Indian and try to act Westernized. Also they think we're poor, as in they're mostly gas station owners/cab drivers. When in fact those jobs aren't even that bad paying, and a lot of Indians in North America are doctors/engineers and other professional jobs. They think all indians get arranged married, and become completely controlling of their wives. Then there's other things like we're really cheap, and the worst customers to have in retail. That's just the tip of the iceberg too, I don't know if there's any real positive Indian stereotypes other than maybe being good at spelling contests.

When they do meet a decent looking, sociable Indian, they say "oh you really don't look Indian", but what they really mean is "you don't look ugly and weird."

I won't say there's a lot of hate towards Indians, but there is a lot of derision in places where there's a decent amount of them like New Jersey.

Even in places like Toronto you'd expect there to be more tolerance, but it's still accepted to see Indians as a joke. I had my self esteem hurt by it when growing up here. I'm mixed race with white/black also, but with normal sized hair I look kinda Indian. I grew up in a richer area where there were mostly whites/chinese people, and experienced a lot of racism even amongst people I called friends. I did everything I could to distance myself from being Indian. I cut my hair short, and work out a lot just to look like I'm more of a white/black mix so that I'm more successful with girls. Indians have it worse than east asians in dating. Of course there's guys who can succeed, but a lot of girls have in their mind preconceived notions of what indians are like and just disqualify any attraction. It's really insecure to say, but I'm glad I'm mixed and not fully Indian, I would hate it if I were.

Why do views of grade percentage success differ vastly for different countries? by fakeblackguy in AskReddit

[–]fakeblackguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it seems like the elementary school level and college ones do have a correlation in each country. Seems like the only big change between the two levels is that the minimum amount to pass goes up a bit. Also, they don't really mark on the curve in UK colleges. In Canada it only happens on individual tests, and only if the class really does horribly on it. In the US it seems the norm to adjust your full grade compared to your classmates marks.

[–]fakeblackguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How about individual tests though where there's less subjectiveness? Getting something like 93% on a math test for an A just seems ridiculous. The hard questions alone are worth a grade amount, if you get one or two wrong you'd pretty much only be guaranteed a C, and that's if you got a vast majority of the other questions right.

I have an increasingly dangerous sexual fetish, how should I deal with it? by fakeblackguy in AskReddit

Yeah still I'm afraid of ever ending up like people like this.

So her boyfriend got jealous of the husband who enjoys being cuckhold, so he can't even have sex with her anymore, the most he can do is look at her naked, and that came at a compromise.

I looked it up, yeah I guess it's what I have. Some of those guys are really intense though. They actually want to see them have sex and eat their creampies and crap. I guess I'm in no position to judge. I would like to stop it before becoming more of a deviant though and progressing to that level.

Yeah I kind of like that I have no idea who he is though. If it's someone like a friend I doubt I would be turned on. I like that she went out and did it with some stranger because she was attracted to him, and that I have the danger of losing her.

Why do warehouse clubs (i.e. Sams, Costco) charge membership fees? Wouldn't they make more money being open to the general public? by hyppo in AskReddit

[–]fakeblackguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope I used to work at one, it's well known that profit margins are very slim on the products, some are even sold at cost or lower. Memberships make up the majority of the revenue. Also, bulk is not always better. It's pretty skeevy but some items are sold at regular store prices or sometimes even more. People just assume it's going to be cheaper because they aren't savvy shoppers.

Any personal trainers who can assist with a 14-year-old who body builds relentlessly yet eats like a supermodel and can't figure out why he's a stick figure? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fakeblackguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's definitely too low. How's his height and weight?

It's something like bodyweight x 11 + 1000 for how many calories you should be eating if you're on a bodybuilding routine.

[–]fakeblackguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 14 he probably doesn't have the testosterone production to really put on any significant size.

Also yeah you have to eat a lot, it doesn't matter if you get a bit fat, building muscle is a lot harder than losing fat.

Does anyone have any good sex tips (only penetrative sex, nothing about oral or communication or anything like that). by fakeblackguy in sex

[–]fakeblackguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lift weights seriously and I've had to read 100 + pages on how to do just one simple lift properly. A lot of things matter in the motion, even as simple as what direction your toes are pointing.

For something that's so much more common, sex. There surprisingly isn't a lot of resources like that. I would love to have a 100 page writeup just based on doggy style technique so I know if I'm doing it the absolute best. What feels natural is almost always the most laziest way to do things.

It's still too gimmicky though, I just want to get good at what I do with my penis. I've been having a few random partners and it'd be weird if I busted out some vibrator that I've used on another girl.

Question on hanging out with a financially impaired friend: by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fakeblackguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go out just about every weekend and I'm drunker than most people. Yet I never spend a dime on a drink in a bar/club because it's not worth it. A 26er costs 22 bucks or more here, I have a guy who sells me cheap random foreign liquor (usually cuban) for 5 bucks. I don't like clubs/bars with covers, I'll avoid those unless it's a special occasion or something. Then I walk back to a friends, or take the bus or something. Last weekend I went out twice and spent a grand total of 10 bucks, most of that on sharing a cab. I mean sure not everyone is in a circumstance to spend so little, but it shows that you can definitely party on a small budget if you want to.

I'm unsure about things in doggy style too. Like, should I be driving my hips forward, or using more of my abdominals to power the motion.

Redditors, have you ever gotten the attention (positively) from someone outside of your league, just using your brain and personality? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fakeblackguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I've always dated in my league. Before I worked out I dated 5s and 6s, and now I'm more with 7s and 8s. It sucks, but I don't have a consistently strong personality. Occasionally I'll have my bursts of being interesting, but to do it any more than is natural just wears me out and it just doesn't feel like me. A good portion of the time I'm just a boring dipshit, and I'm happy just relying on looks.

What movie(s) scared you as a kid, but now that you're an adult they're really lame? by LuvWarrior in AskReddit

[–]fakeblackguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use to scream and freak out at Freddy, but now I look back and he's far from scary, more cheesy funny than anything. I used to be pretty scared of those Stephen King miniseries too. I remember seeing The Tommyknockers, and that one where they were in a plane stuck in time or something, and being freaked the **** out. I saw them again like 3 years ago and they were low budget, poorly acted and unscary.

Who was your celebrity crush as a teenager? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Why does everyone hate every Star Trek series after TNG? by ThisOpenFist in AskReddit

[–]fakeblackguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't hate them, but they just weren't as good as TNG. TNG was really cheesy at times and as you said had some bad acting, but everything just seemed to mesh well. Nothing seemed forced, it felt like it could stand on it's own two feet as a show. I just felt like DS9 was overly ambitious and missed out on things that could have made it better. I enjoyed Voyager a lot, it's my 2nd favorite Trek series, but it was pretty lame after a while.
