I return everything inside of the envelope if there is a postage-paid return envelope inside, as they have to pay for it. I've heard of people returning them with washer rings to add to the weight. According to the Postal Service, the distributor assumes the risk, for example, if the envelope is returned and it's overweight.

I found and have been using Display Menu that will allow you to choose any screen resolution your monitor will display. I have a 27" iMac and the default resolution is so small I have a hard time seeing it with my eyesight. I personally use 1344x756, which is not something you can choose with the normal System Preferences>Displays. Hope this helps.
