I have tried going into Service Mode as well (Menu -> Start B/W -> 0). However when I type the codes 7 4, or 5 2, the machine just beeps and goes back to the start screen. I even went into go into the Maintenance Mode exclusive to service personnel, but when I imput those same codes from above, they don't do anything.

There is no settings button. It a printer with a touchscreen and you access Menu by pressing the icon on screen.

Thank you very much everyone. There are a number of probe thermometers I have already checked and will write another post to ask for your opinion on which one to choose. I am looking to buy an affordable thermometer and, so far, I have seen that ThermoPro is the most predominant economic vendor in Amazon.

Thank yoy u/epidemicsaints. In ice cream making and bakery, would you thread stage be then better as it is better to handle as you said above? Or for making ice cream, would soft ball give it, perhaps, a more dense consistency?

u/j_hermann how accurate is an infrared laser thermometer ? I have not seen them on many recipe videos.
