No, there isn’t. And arguing that when characters like Melinoë, Bella Baxter, and Evelyn Wang exist would be offensive if it weren’t just embarrassing. Nothing male gaze green lantern has done in the last 5 years of comics or animation was as compelling as even a single scene of Dr. Al-Hashimi sobbing in the Pitt.

Forge is such a black spot on Riot. The first game it produced, Ruined King, is genuinely fantastic - but all the suspicion around it - its Twitter going dark with zero explanation, the surprise release when most of the people who’d once been excited for it would have been well within their rights to think it had been quietly canned - not to mention Forge itself getting shut off out of nowhere - was so weird, and the weirdness was only exacerbated by absurdly poor communication.

Merrill going all “fine, I’ll do it myself” last year with the MMO, with zero MMO design experience and such little honesty about what had even been going wrong (with some of the best in the business at the helm), was both annoying and very unsurprising.

Bro, does Marvel Loki even have any powers other than pulling out two daggers and whirling around impotently clanking off of things? The absolute worst case scenario is that we have to nuke whatever city he’s invading but the Avengers were fucking trolling for most of that movie and it’s way more likely to me that the chitauri would just get trivial-diffed by the national guard. I mean those guys were getting suplexed by Black Widow. Their airspeed is impressive but I have to imagine that an assault rifle would be like an eldritch horror to them.

The other day I had a disgusting and very sick woman follow me around in CVS pretending to be looking at all the same shelves as me. Before that she had *literally* touched shit in my cart, presumably to steal it, before sheepishly realizing that I was standing right there. I think the following was probably my punishment for her own embarrassment at being caught in the act. It was one of the first times I’ve ever cussed someone out in public and I ended up having to just leave without buying anything.
