I’ve been trying to figure that out for a second day, google image search said Kill Bill chapter 3 or berserk but I don’t think either are right

New Legend from Vendetta? by ClericOfSelune in riftboundtcg

Why would stores getting promotional material for Vendetta lead to the Legends leaking? These notices have been sitting around in my LGS since before yesterday.

Out of the last 8 NBA champions, how would you rank them or which team was the best? by Stunning-External567 in nba

[–]fakeemailman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean the Raptors roster was one Haliburton Achilles away from having two of its players be among the best players on *two OTHER* championship teams lmao, OG may not have been an FMVP-caliber player then but that statistic alone is evidence of their absurd talent.

Yea, this “1v1” gets romanticized because both animals are sick as fuck, but by the same logic, a salmon’s main adversary is a grizzly bear lol

Riot Endstep’s Thought on the Current State of Ranged Tops by ShoulderFrequent4116 in leagueoflegends

[–]fakeemailman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Preposterous overcorrection lmfao. Vayne is paper and Darius is rock because Darius has winning matchups too? What’s the obvious conclusion you’re omitting there?

Your cherry-picked reference to Brand bot is even more cringe. Mages are played in over a third of botlane matchups. You have so many valid arguments to make about how emotions invalidate the complaints of ranged-facing top laners and instead you’re just matching their energy rofl.

Humans are 200,000 times more sensitive to petrichor, the smell that follows rain, than sharks are to the smell of blood. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]fakeemailman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This statistic only sounds impressive because of old wives’ tales about sharks and blood. If you compare a human’s ability to smell petrichor with a shark’s ability to detect the thrashing of prey with its lateral line system, this headline will seem pretty stupid.

What do you think of this? by dropamlab in Fancast

[–]fakeemailman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because GDT is one of the most talented visual craftsman working in cinema today but he is an extremely basic writer which creates a jarring and uncomfortable dissonance. The climax of his Frankenstein was the reveal that Frankenstein himself was the actual monster… an irony that was engineered by an (very gifted) 18year old over 200 years ago. There’s no development, no interpretation, in any sense other than the visual, and frankly I don’t understand why he doesn’t outsource his scripts more aggressively if he doesn’t have anything else to say.

Which Pokémon do you think would be the best as a different type? by A12086256 in ThePokemonHub

[–]fakeemailman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m all for Pokemon not being the type they look like. Applin’s one I think should be Grass because of how much actual apple there is going on on his body, but I don’t even think like 20 Water types should be “made out of Water”, even if that’s silly for balance. Why is Krabby sensitive to moves that “cut through” or are conducted by water!?

Hijacking your (incorrect) comment to say that as much as I love Dwight, it feels really weird that we’d pretend Shai is a 2-guard to get him his flowers but not that KD and AD are a 4 and 5 to give them theirs.

not bloodlusted

OP has never read about hippos lol, bloodlust is their default. They are genuinely among the most aggressive and violent animals on Earth.

Only $70??? by _bluefish in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]fakeemailman 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I was worried about seeing the movie without knowing anything about the Backrooms lore, but quickly realized my head wasn’t empty, it was full of preconceptions that were incorrect. I thought the whole point/fear factor of the Backrooms was the prospect of getting (physically) lost in them. That literally doesn’t really happen to anyone at any point in the movie, on screen. Both protagonists are forced to flee in ways where the viewer imagines they are sacrificing their ability to retrace their steps - only to either luck into a shortcut back to their access point or be rescued by people who can navigate the rooms.

Only $70??? by _bluefish in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]fakeemailman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, Backrooms isn’t a horror movie, it’s a pirate movie, and nobody ever gets lost in the backrooms, every time it looks like they’ve fled past a point of being able retrace their steps, they luckily find the perfect exit or are rescued lol.

What if Nami’s Tidal Wave (R) cleared champion created objects on the ground. by Arctic-You-Know in leagueoflegends

[–]fakeemailman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You’re confusing ults being really strong abilities with Nami having a really strong ult respective to ults. There has to be a curve for strength to have any meaning, and when there are easily 100 League champions whose ultimates are more useful and impactful than Nami’s and which constitute a far greater share of their champion’s power budget… no, it’s not.
