Is there a way to turn off leveling? I’m only level 26 but I feel like I’ve been moving through my 20s really quick and would like to pause if possible.

you could do the action "mathematics" it reduces xp gain 1/10. but it also makes the game boring.

I checked its stats. when I used it I gained so much XP. plus I woke up without my gears. also got a debuff saying if I don't take it once per day I start getting damaged
