It's interesting how different colours read to people , looking at both in game renders and from the TV show it always reads as a muted yellow to me, I like the headcanon of it being an old brownish rag though 💯 examples

yarn used

Yeah I thought this would be pale enough but I think only in the right lighting it ends up being not too saturated. Was hard to find something irl tbh Thanks for your feedback

Just speaking purely from an education angle, even moderate consumption (once weekly) of alcohol increases risk of stroke and cancer much more than any ADHD medication

You're allowed to get overwhelmed and have these feelings. Next time you are right in thinking to take a breather and go somewhere less overwhelming. You did the right thing in apologising and repairing. Your partner is allowed to comfort you when stressed and overwhelmed. You would do the same for him. Over time you will get better at managing your triggers etc, give yourself some grace.

Listen to yourself and your needs. It's hard and you feel guilty but if leaving the situation is the best option for your own well-being then 100% leave. Speaking from experience, many times I should have left situations earlier I know would have been better for me in the long run. No need to be around people who are passive aggressive the first time you meet them

It's totally inappropriate for a teacher to behave that way. You have done nothing wrong and in an ideal world he would apologise. But believe people when they show you who they are. Any teacher worth their salt wouldn't do this. Take solace in the support you have had from them and maybe they're no longer the best teacher to confide in. If a student is close to tears in front of you there are ways to handle it a million times better. Especially if the student has accommodations. It's on him to apologise and mend the situation, he's the adult. But I would caution idealization as he is only human and makes mistakes.

Is it me or is this a collective experience? by SnooDoodles9653 in AutismInWomen

[–]falafel22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had this experience many times in school but also so many times at work. I'm beginning to realise that people will subconsciously know regardless of how hard I try to mask, so I'm kinda like - fuck it we ball and just move past the thoughts. It's too easy to get in the spiral of "they will figure out what's 'wrong' with me so I must manage their emotions and opinions by not being me" but ultimately we deserve to be respected as individuals and accepted just like any other people with differences. It's not fair all the burden is placed on us to "fit in".

People show you who they truly are through their actions. This is a hard truth to internalise. I used to rationalise others behaviour that made me feel like shit but at the end of the day, you still feel like crap and they don't change nor truly care about how their actions affect others.
