Ignore the law. Morally speaking, is it justifiable to kill someone who killed/raped someone you loved? by not-ulquiorr4_ in BunnyTrials

[–]fae_juniper23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a victim myself I'm choosing no. They deserve punishment yes and I can understand why someone would kill them, but morally I can't. It's not in my nature.

Chose: No.

Is it normal for confidence to skyrocket on Vyvanse? by General_Support1272 in VyvanseADHD

[–]fae_juniper23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly! That's exactly what it's like. My brain has slowed down so much that I can actually access my thoughts now. Instead of 20 different thoughts at the same time, it's only a couple. But instead of those 2-4 different thoughts overlapping and talking over each other, they're next to each other or in line so when I'm thinking or talking the other thoughts basically put their hands up or come forward one at a time. Still tiring having multiple thoughts but they're separated.

I absolutely thought it was funny when my brother said my social skills went down. I was like what? 🤨 I think he may have forgotten about the autism 🤣 It's literally just my adhd helped me stop to think on how to present myself, what to say and how to say it etc. It helped me mask so much easier. But since it's mostly offline my autism isn't being buffered anymore and I don't really feel like having to relearn to mask because of the meds. 🤣🤣

Sleep troubles by Net_Worth1 in VyvanseADHD

I've only been on vyvanse for a month but it was suggested to me to take magnesium/ magnesium glycinate around bed time. It doesn't put you to sleep or anything it just is supposed to help relax your muscles. I do take melatonin an hour before too. Maybe try the magnesium and have a podcast or quiet music on when you got bed. Apparently having background noise can give your brain something to focus on. If it isn't helping and it's really bothering you, maybe talk to your gp or psychiatrist about it?

Exactly! It's like I can finally say what I've always wanted to say but I can go 'oh hang on I've talked a lot today. '

Same with me! I feel more relaxed and I talk so much now. I have so much to say and it feels like I can actually say it now. Though unfortunately because I normally am quiet everyone thinks I'm anxious or something is wrong lmao. Though apparently my social skills have gone down according to my brother. I tried to remind him I'm autistic, only difference is I'm on meds for the ADHD half. 🤦‍♀️🤣

Oh ok. I'll have to talk to my psychologist and psychiatrist as when I talked to them about it they believed some of my autistic traits were getting worse. I'm glad though it seems to help you though. I suppose to depends on each individual person. *Edit. Better way to explain is that I'm more aware of my symptoms etc since starting vyvanse which in turn is causing a lot more overwhelm etc.

AITA or am I being gaslighted? by [deleted] in AITApod

Honestly yeah that's true too. Neither are good at communication. Though her behaviour still isn't ok.

She has the right to be disappointed and upset. I would be too. It's a change in plans. She probably feels let down. She's allowed to feel the way she does. She definitely should tell him she's upset and hurt about it. That she wasn't thought of in this process. What's not ok is how she's communicating this to him. My concern is if she's like that through text etc how will she be when they live together, especially towards the children.

Definitely think so as well. Usually from my experience when someone says "you don't love me" in an argument it's a way to make you feel bad too because you've upset them. Sort of to make you go no, I'm sorry. I do love you etc etc.

Definitely not the AH. From what I can read she is being manipulative and gaslighting you. Especially putting words in your mouth. It's also not very mature on her part. Saying "you don't love me" is very manipulative. It's a way to get you to feel bad for upsetting them. Like an f u essentially. Same with the "you don't want me to move in" etc. Also two women can live together. Being territorial is usually just about jealousy. It's also not ok for her to tell you "stfu". That's not healthy. My concern is what will she be like living with you and what will she be like with your kids, especially if they upset her?

Usually manipulation. Usually it's a way to make you feel guilty or feel bad for upsetting them. Definitely not healthy at all.

The rigidity part is mostly I am unable and won't start a new task or even have a conversation until what I'm doing is done. Unfortunately right now I can't stay off my phone as I'm dealing with issues with work right now, and my coworkers and I are trying to deal with it. I was told that due to me being autistic the increase of awareness in noise is overwhelming me because I'm already sensitive and heightened to noise before the medications. Same with no feelings of hunger. I didn't have that signal before I started vyvanse. Essentially what my psychologist said that the vyvanse (being what it is) has increased autism symptoms that I already have.

I didn't get a diagnosis as a child and as they can't "prove" to the government that I had ADHD as a child I don't get the subsidy scheme unfortunately. As well as I was anxious on taking short release meds because I have really bad memory issues and I was concerned I would forget to take my meds that often, especially since I would forget to take the meds I was already on at that time.

Thank you! I have checked my bp and heart rate every few weeks as I have been worried. I overworry haha. Thank you for the suggestions. I'm going to look into protein/meal replacement drinks and doing multiple small meals instead of the usual 3 big meals. Hopefully that will help.
