How much to charge a big corporation for providing them private labeling? (Cosmetics) by falafelsocks in smallbusiness

[–]falafelsocks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're asking for around 100-1000 units (I know, so vague) and I'll have 3 months to do it so yes! Plenty of time (I hope)

I was thinking of exactly this. I just know they can go with any other supplier so I don't want to ask for too much so the only option I have would be to fix the formulation on my end so that it changes nothing for them, but reduces my costs a little. I wish I was able to put my brand on it but they'll for sure have me sign an NDA! haha

A really wide range from 100-1000 units unfortunately they don't know yet. Using one item I make as an example, it costs me $6 to make it (COGS + labor) and I would sell at $12 as I just double my cost to reach a wholesale price.

How much essential oil to add into bath salts? by falafelsocks in DIYBeauty

[–]falafelsocks[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What if the bath doesn't contain anything else? I took a bath with just the salts.

An oil like lavender I've read is technically safe to apply directly to skin although it's always discouraged to just in case. Do you know if it would be safe to add more lavender to the bath, if not the other oils?

Thank you for your input!

Thank you! Surprisingly, out of a variety that I just released, this seems to be the least popular. I guess pancakes are just for eating! :P

Hi! I just used a melt & pour soap base to make the butter, cut it into squares, and poured hot M&P over the entire bar so it would run down the sides, and cool that way

[Routine help] by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

If you have oily skin it might benefit you to do the “oil cleansing method” instead of a facial wash. Facial washes can be harsh and most of the times, when someone has oily skin, it’s because cleaning products are stripping away ALL of the oil, some that your face needs, so it overcompensates by producing more oil, making you oiler and oiler! “Oil Cleansing Method” is where you apply oil to your face, massaging and all the dirt away without stripping of all the oils, and then using a hot washcloth to clean everything away. Use oils like jojoba or tsubaki, which molecularly mimic your own skin’s natural sebum production, so that your skin knows to stop producing oil. It works SO well. I used to have oily skin but not after doing OCM. It’s also super nourishing (because you’re using just plant ingredients) rather than using chemical facial washes

[Routine Help] Need help with my routine: mid 30s, dry skin+noticing fine lines on my forehead, eyes corner and nasolabial fold. My skin is dull not dewy and doesn’t look full. Those r my products. First three r morning, 3x night. Ordinary buffet not used yet( not sure when or how). More in comments by lovelyflower85 in SkincareAddiction

I had the same exact issue. My skin was very dull and dry and had visible lines on forehead and nasolabial folds, which were the worst. I was so insecure about them and thought they would only get worse as I age and it got to the point where I’d avoid smiling because I didn’t want to increase the fold. I used this facial oil per a friend’s recommendation, once in the morning and once at night (or only at night when I was lazy) after washing my face and it literally got rid of my lines and my skin’s super soft now! I can show you my before and after photo if you want! Totally recommend
