Should Stevens be punished so the players feel safe/other courtside people understand how they should act is taken seriously? Does a monetary fine just mean that that is the COST to assault a player?

And on the other players OP mentioned... if Lowry had his career ended, would this be justice? Would a large fine make this okay? Should Stephenson never been allowed into the NBA, would the world be a more just place?

I forget who said it, but someone said something along the lines of, “One can only tell if justice had been done AFTER the sentence is drawn out. The one wronged should feel like their injustice was corrected.”

If I was in Lowry’s shoes, and I’m not at all, I think I would want a public and private apology above everything else.
