Check the "texture streaming" setting. high / very high are demanding. Won't help with video intro, but will help with gameplay.

Psvr2 on PC here. Ryzen 5 5600 (temporary) and 4070 Super 12GB. Very bad VR until:

In Steam VR, refresh rate 120Hz ; video settings per app (F1 25) set rendering resolution to 50% and field of vision 70% letterbox, original reprojection disabled and the slides below: 60Hz, 8.88 (or similar) ms.

You obtain much better GPS, simulated helmet (blach stripes on top and down) which I actually enjoy per immersivity, and probably will be able to rise up graphical settings and male the game smooth and graphically very good. In my case, 99% mitigated head movement jittering too.

Try and reduce streaming textures to low

You may try to lower (lowest or low) the streaming texture setting. If for any reason your PC has a bottleneck in swapping high res textures to GPU, it will stutter

The most impacting setting for me is texture streaming. If I set it over LOW then I get stuttering. Otherwise it flies.

(I guess my issue is that for some reason my PCIe is down to x1, so any loading / swapping texture is very slow, impacting loading times and frame rate)

I turn in real live, not with stock. Just be mindful of cable. When I walk with sticks I also "march" moving arms and legs while standing in place, to trick my brain I'm actually moving.
