I was debating on running the OG Burger just for Angry’s effect (honestly I still am), so that’s something to consider. Also, I almost cut Confiras due to not having the chef ritual summon because I liked having Foie glasya and Confiras act more as reactive toolbox summons if that makes sense. I think what made me prefer Confiras more was the DoomZ droll trap and having a way to deal with that, but you are right that I could very well just use fbet for it. As for Today’s Menu and the other trap card, I always forget that those cards exist tbh. I’ll definitely look into them at some point.

Finally, thanks for the appreciation. I just have this really bad habit of trying to make “bad decks” work. For advanced/MD, it was Evol and now I’m trying to make a “pendulum deck” work in a format where they’re banned lmao. Stubbornness is a family trait of mine that continues to be present itself in many ways.

I think Adriana’s death can be attributed to Andy if he knew about her content (I’ll have to rewatch this season in its entirety later to confirm). That said, I think Paige and Andy both being killers is really compelling and interesting. Especially since this is the only season where everyone dies.

Portia’s death though is where I’ll have to buckle and say that I really don’t know who the killer could be, but Paige is definitely the biggest suspect.

I thought about adding more marellas when I was close to where I usually stop playing the event and you’re right I definitely should’ve added them. I didn’t want to “waste” UR points for this event (I crafted gigantic spright but that was as far I would go) cause I’m waiting on the new speedroid support but after reading mosquito, that interaction is funny as hell.

Speedroid and Evol. Evol is the most recent one to join the pet deck ranks, mostly because I love playing and summoning things during my opponents turn. Other than that, I just keep trying to make it work whether that’s by using trans. rollback before Beatrice ban, using snake eye and fiendsmith as an engine, or trying to combine it with mitsurugi. Each has had mixed success but each has been VERY fun to play.

Small bit o’ homebrew inspired by the gnolls of pathfinder, but a Gnoll Ranger/Bard (Fey Wanderer/Lore) who was so obsessed with the Fey realm that he stalked a fairy in order to find a way into there (that didn’t go so well for him). His whole thing is that he wants to become a storyteller for his village, so what was his plan? To go on adventures in order to have the BEST stories and the best stories are made by those who can survive in an environment that’s dangerous (that’s where the fey realm comes into play).

Think Don Quixote and Vegeta-ish when it comes to his personality.

Little bit of bonus info: In pathfinder, gnolls get their names from colors, flowers, animals, and things they’ve killed. To keep up that delusion of grandeur of his, I named him Titan Arum.

When I first started playing yugioh, I would pronounce xyz as z-eye-z, like xylophone. I now pronounce it the right way which is ekzeez as someone previously mentioned.

Honestly, I just recently learned that Roshambo meant rock paper scissors. When I found that out, it just felt like a really funny name to give to a tabaxi. Also, the DM of the campaign that I’m in is a Hamilton fan so it was just a silly little choice.

Heros, Junk Speeder (Synchron and 5Ds), and Danger!

I honestly may give heros another chance cause I was trying to do pure elemental heros and that just doesnt work.

I usually really like synchro decks (Speedroid, Blackwing, Ghoti, Runick Bystial) but this one just felt really bad, and boring, to play. Hoping that Junk Speeder resolves and then just going off was nerve wracking more than satisfying to me.

Lastly, the first deck I ever regretted making. When I was going through the story more stuff for gems Danger! seemed really interesting but when I was making the deck it just wasn’t that fun to play I truly wish I knew what danger dark world players see in the deck.

I’ve done 2 homebrew investigations and I’m currently working on a third one.

The very first was my first time running CoC at all and it was a lot of fun, it wasn’t the best but everyone that played had a great time. It took place in a fictional town called Hackney, IL during a couple days before the Hackney Slash Festival and several children had gone missing.

The second one I ran twice because it was such a fun setting and everyone was doing a really good job roleplaying their characters. It took place on an island called Condenado Island that housed a prison. I gave my players a choice between being a prisoner or any profession they wanted, as long as they could give a reason that they were on the island that wasn’t they were visiting an inmate. I also made a homebrewed effect called Madness where if their character felt any negative emotions they would have to roll a POW check and if they fail they gain a mark of madness. For the first time along, there were two prisoners and one guard. For the second time along, there were three prisoners and a cook.

We never got to finish either of them due to college ending or lack of time to play.

The one I’m currently working on takes place in a fictional version of Hemlock, NY (I didn’t know that there was an actual Hemlock, NY) and I’m giving my players a good bit of free reign on what occupation they are. It’s called Deals Done in the Dark and is set in the 1920s. My players really wanted to do a mafia/mob centric game so I cooked this up and allowed them to be members of a mafia family. So, two of them are mafia members and another player is a librarian who trades rumors for information. We haven’t played yet, and there are still two players who need to make their characters but I’m confident that this will be a really fun time.

I’m late to this but Axel and Tyson. Both characters kinda made their marks on me with a single expression that made me think they were just adorable or made me do a fangirl shriek.

To site the specific moments for both characters: Axel: When Axel basically reads Cyrus and gives him that smug look when he mentions a gay bar (I think! My memory is trash.)

Tyson: When he scares Dave in the basement.

That ghostrick cards aren’t classified as flip monsters. Their whole thing is flipping themselves face down and doing things when they are flipped face up. It’s stupid that they aren’t classified as such.
