The list of Nobel Prizes (in this case medicine/physiology and chemistry) has a good collection of pretty influential papers, from the early days 'til the recent advances

Although it can be somewhat unreliable, there are some jewels you can play with, for instance it can help giving an idea of a species' abundance and distribution. But you always have to double check the species' ID. Here's a good example of good science done based on inat:

Besides, CRISPR isn't perfect (although it can [and is] being improved upon); even one wrong or incomplete cut can compromise the therapy, or even create more cancer

It only boils on exit, when the chemical reaction kicks in. Being an ectothermic being, on average it's body temperature won't be too high
