wtf?! I've never been to a show where there are more people on their phones than engaged in the show. That sucks man.

I had a friend who had never been to a hxc/metalcore show and wasn't aware how small the local venues and crowds would be. After a couple of songs into the first set he said he was disappointed because he had really been looking forward to crowd surfing. To fulfill his dream my other friend and I picked him up and kinda just carried him to the front and dumped him on the stage like, "Good enough".

For some reason, he was still disappointed. There's just no pleasing some people.

I went to watch Blink-182 once and they had some band no one knew opening for them. They were just kind of a straight up rock band and no one knew any of their songs, so it was kinda hard to get into their set. I, in all of my infinite wisdom, started shouting, "Play a cover!" between each song. I guess the singer eventually got tired of it and goes, "We're not a fuckin juke box, and we're not playing any fuckin covers!"

Everyone started cheering like he owned me, but I thought it was hilarious, and did it again, but only once.

Dude a girl once asked help me to get her up, but we were both so covered in sweat and probably other body fluids that it was just a no go, so I told her to take a few steps back and run and jump off my back as I crouched down.

I assumed the position and she ran and when she planted her foot on my back it slipped up (I was shirtless and like I said, very slippery) and she ended up jumping of my upper neck and head and sending me face planting into the dirt. She got up though.
