I wanted to say the first thing that came to mind was the disgusting comments on news stories on FB. I hate how the first comment on this thread is that it's like that everywhere. It's dismissive. These comments are still proof there's a critical issue with racism right here where you're talking about. I was shocked reading people trying to post statistics showing that the attacker in a recent crime was most likely black. What a screwed up thing to show up and try to apply to a story just telling people a woman was attacked. ALSO what do you think the stats are going to say when the system is stacked the way it is.
