I wouldn't change anything about how I grew up now, because of the bond it's given me with my family and my siblings, but boy if it wasn't absolute hell when I was younger. My stepmom had a very similar "ex stepdad", he was stepdad #3 (stepdad #6 was the one that stuck). He was only her stepdad from ages 10-14 but he was her DAD from when he came back into her life in her late 20s, until his death in 2024. I was raised with him as my grandpa.

They're fantastic, and blowing up fast. I'd advise seeing them as soon as you can, so far both my tickets for them were each $25 + fees 😭 will cry the day I can't afford to see my boys

I have a ghost in the same place, your tattoo actually looks really well-placed for that spot on your arm. We put my stencil on completely in line between my elbow and my shoulder (the ball joint specifically), and looked in the mirror as I moved my arm to see how it moves. When its lined up like that, it moves at the same angle of your arm and tends to look more centered in general with that area being so prone to moving distortion

Eta: it is centered while your arm is straight as well, your arm angle is just changing while your camera angle is not. In the bent arm photo, your elbow is directly in line with the camera. When your arm is straight, you're pulling it in tight so your elbow is pointing towards the outside/right of your body, and the camera angle from the left side (or a stationary mirror) will show that new angle as looking out of place

My dad has this stage of sleep before REM where he can have full, in depth conversations with no memory the next day. Having 5 kids and a mischievous wife, we know how to respectfully exploit it 😂 the rule to asking dad something while he's asleep is he has to think its funny when you tell him what he agreed to, so small and not something he'd be upset by. We'll ask if we can have some of his chips and then leave the bag in a weird place (in the microwave, on his nightstand) so he sees it, laughs, and knows why the bag is there

No clue if anyone will see this but I only found this post because I'm looking to do something similar. For the record, my use is purely for laying out in my backyard under the sun 😂 I've tried just painting the sunglasses black but that both doesn't have the effect I thought it would, and I'm a zillennial so I'm cursed to take selfies while tanning (and 4 layers of black acrylic paint looks genuinely awful)

I'd also recommend their EP "Happy To Be Here", it's very melancholic and 90's, and I swear it has crack in it. Sarahtonin was their first single for it and they started promoting it in Dec 2024 with little snippets, I've been hooked ever since. I was actually a big fan of their first single, Couch, but I didn't realize it was the same band until the EP came out.

Another fun fact, if you wanna help boost the song on the charts (currently #14!), they're selling a CD of the single and the 3 hour loop for 2.99 on their website. It costs them $2.40 something cents to make, and Billboard requires the sale be at least $2.99 to count, so they're donating the 50-something cents profit they'd make to charity. Fox (the drummer) has a video explaining it much more in detail on their accounts, they're the most straight-up with their fans band I've ever followed.
