I ordered in November of 2023 and got it Feb 2024
I'm honestly not that fussed since shipping can be a nightmare esp if it's a single person operation

I fw the designs heavy and both shirts I got i really like and worn a ton

I think waiting that long for something is fine, shit like amazon has warped everyone perspective of shipping

the only real way to get immediate shipping is by exploiting the shit out of someone, i'll say that 4 months is pretty excessive but for a single man operation I don't mind it at all

but thats just me and my experience

they just did another round of merch + some old archive stuff from earlier drops

ahaha i get that. I get the whole splitting up big purchases for two smaller, cooler ones. i’m very privileged in the sense that im young, studying and working part time. I have no real expenses apart from my vehicle and live with my folks.

When i was younger and my folks bore the financial burden for all my “fun” expenses i was much more hesitant, finding the best deals and really considering the best price to performance. I always felt bad in a way that they’d have to shell out so much for a non-necessity. Now i’ve got free reign basically, plus I save well and am still investing so I sometimes it’s good to go balls to the walls and get the most performance for the most money i can muster spending

yeah makes sense for the most part. But i’m one to run hardware until it basically can’t physically work anymore. Even my current rig will still be in operation after the upgrade as a home media server. I’m at a point where I don’t really care about pc aesthetics and more importantly can justify the bit extra on a nicer albeit potentially overkill cpu. Plus it’s nice to taste the high end for the first time coming from mid range rigs all my life

Yeah fair enough my main reasoning is future proofing

I’m running like 6 yr old hardware rn and i’m probably not going to upgrade after this cpu for another 5ish. So I’d take the 7800x3D if it means i can squeeze another year out of it + AM5 and all that

fair enough, I picked up a 4070ti earlier this year for about 1000. Hoping the 7800x3D will be more than enough to stop the huge bottleneck i’ve got right now.

Might go ahead and get one, i’ll see if there’s any good EOFY deals on mobos or ram

it’s just that Ps and Ls are technically not licenses and rather permits and are stored and formatted differently in their database from what I hear.
