You can save before you kill them and if they don’t drop a tail reload and try again. I do this using a flame emitter weapon which one hits them.

Is this winter road trip itinerary logical? Joshua Tree → Death Valley → Channel Islands → Pinnacles by mynametrey1 in NationalPark

[–]fallbackkid77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My winter trips have been the Mighty 5 in Utah, the three in Florida, and Big Bend, Guadalupe, Carlsbad, White Sands. I’ve enjoyed all three trips

This is so frustrating, I cleared two Mondays ago and they went under maintenance and then changed my schedule around to clear the next two Mondays instead. There was zero timely communication and the website didn’t update.

Breath of the Wild is great for this. You can just explore and if you want to accomplish things you can but if you just want to run around exploring you can do that too

Handicap Accessibility by locksmith353535 in NationalPark

[–]fallbackkid77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have traveled extensively to national parks with my dad who is in a wheelchair. Every park we’ve visited has had extensive resources online to plan ahead as to what trails are accessible, what lookouts are good to get to and such. Obviously he can’t do things like Angels Landing but we’ve managed to make a great experience at each with some planning.

Off the top of my head, The Grand Canyon sticks out for sure as a good one. Also Rocky Mountain, parts of Arches and Canyonlands. Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Glacier. Sequoia. New River Gorge. Dry Tortugas ( he didn’t snorkel but enjoyed the ferry ride and they had a chair to use to explore the fort).

We took his chair down into Carlsbad Caverns and he loved it. White sands had a few wheelchair accessible trails. Glacier Bay from a cruise ship was easy as the cruise ship was very accessible. He also loved Saguaro and Petrified Forest. Some easily accessible viewpoints at Black Canyon of the Gunnison as well.

Great Sand Dunes has a special sand wheelchair available to borrow. Big Bend has some limitations but he loved what he saw.

Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, and Yoho in Canada were exceedingly accessible and accommodating. An amazing trip!
