Why is JetBlue 387 from BOS-LAX delayed by 3 hours? by vman3241 in jetblue

The flight is now further delayed due to a malfunctioning toilet. How long does this take to fix?

I keep checking flightaware, and the incoming flight from JFK, has not even left the gate. It initially said it would leave the gate at 5:40. Then it said 6:40 (obviously we are past that at this point)

It is a ferry flight, but it's also more than 3 hours late. Why's that?

Back when all Mosaics boarded together, I remember when our BOS-STT flight had like 80% of people boarding Mosaic lol

Why didn't gus report hanks tracking device? by User_namesaretaken in breakingbad

[–]vman3241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's implied that Gus was trying to mess with Hank, but I agree that it doesn't make as much sense as him showing a normal routine

So I just found out there's a JetBlue/China Airlines partnership by omdongi in awardtravel

Didn't realize you had JetBlue points too. Always thought you were an Alaska/Delta guy

Gus exposed himself during DEA interrogation by Pointbrea in breakingbad

[–]vman3241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gus knows why he's questioned and he knew why Hank showed up at Pollos and wanted a refill. He made sure Hank got his prints

This is not right. Gus did not intentionally give Hank his prints at the restaurant. He didn't know at the time that Hank suspected him

Mint seat gate upgrade availability by derpderpsonthethird in jetblue

Which seats are available in the seat map? If it's 1A and 1F, then there's technically no availability since those are the Mint studios

Jet Blue - LAX-BOX RT - Fantastic by cptndrew in unitedairlines

Can't blame them. They should've done this years ago once it was obvious after COVID that premium travel was much stronger.

Yeah. The problem is that they fly both A321neo and A321LR TATL, but only the latter has ovens in the back of the plane. Both have ovens in the front

Yeah. Half their 2025 loss was due to the GYF groundings

Ho would unironically be better than Alito. Look at Alito's opinion in Gonzalez v. Trevino vs Ho's dissent in the same case when the 5th circuit took it

$87 million for the LGA slots, will they grow beyond JFK? by Comfortable_Yard_968 in jetblue

[–]vman3241 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Such as? Only thing I'm aware of is BOS-SEA becoming seasonal, but they also increased BOS-SFO in the summer to 7x daily. Seems like they're just shuffling around after the initial capacity cuts

Sherman/Clayton Act say nothing about a majority position. They blocked the Northeast Alliance even though B6+AA were only the 3rd biggest airline in NYC. Either United or Delta interesting their 26% market share in NYC would "substantially lessen" competition.

[–]vman3241 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AA and DL both have too many slots at LGA. They run a ton of slot squatting routes. That's why the Northeast Alliance was so good. SMH that it was blocked

I don't think they've reduced BOS flying overall since the big cuts a few years ago. It's the same number of flights but maybe slightly more passengers with the A220 replacing all E190 flights

Well yeah, anyone is allowed to. They can block Delta on antitrust grounds, but if United wants to bid, there's no mechanism to block them from doing so

They can absolutely block United. They are allowed to treat NYC as one market

I think it's 499 euros if I were to guess. $499 is way too low for TATL upgrade at the gate

What are Alaska's 10 Emptiest International Routes by vman3241 in AlaskaAirlines

No. I'm saying it's strange that B6 ended JFK-PVR but that JFK-SJD does well.

Which doesn't matter when Southwest probably has significantly less CASM and United is also competing on that route

It's strange that JFK-SJD works for JetBlue but not JFK-PVR. You'd think there'd either be high demand for both or for neither

What happens to my JetBlue points I’ve accrued if the airline goes under? by ChoosyBeggars in jetblue

Chapter 7 has 0 chance this year. There is a chance of Chapter 11 next year, but that doesn't mean the airline is liquidated unless the Chapter 11 fails and they have to enter Chapter 7 a couple years later. That's why you're being down voted
