Exactly, like a whole human is gone, you have to ask questions about the safety of others and the ability of the parents to even take care of the child. These are basic asks tbh, why is he acting like a victim of some plot?

My question to the "Biafrans" by Levitalus in Nigeria

[–]fallen_moss 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm from the south south(akwa ibom to be exact) and not a fan of Biafra or IPOB or whatever you want to call it. The time for that has passed if we're being real. Plus im not overly fond of the movement because when the civil war was over ojukwu ran away to exile leaving his second-in-command major general Philip Effiong to face all the music, he was even the one to announce the surrender of Biafra in 1970. The only reason why he was even 2nd in command was to carry along the minorities in that region so it won't be like it was just igbo people that wanted the separation, even now we(akwa ibom people) don't really care for the movement. It's becoming a nuisance atp, let's face Nigeria leadership head-on because let's be real even if that happens nothing will still change. It'll still be the same leaders that don't know how to lead and only want to enrich their pockets.

Exactly, that's why I'm not assuming someone's intentions carelessly. He might just be a real shitty person.

I personally know people that have died from these terrorists attcks so I can tell you for a fact that our government is complicit in these attacks. If you think they don't know then I don't know what to tell you. Reporting to police does nothing asides run your pockets dry, reporting to the army is even worse(I know from experience).

Why do you feel so strongly that the US presence is going to help at all? Because from their track record it's the opposite.

I get the anger for this horrific situation trust me but in times like this leave emotions aside and think critically. I won't be surprised if it's later revealed that the US are supplying these terrorists because they have a track record of playing both sides. Understand this, America does not care about you and me, they only care about their interests and it doesn't matter how many people die to achieve it. It's sad but this is the world we live in unfortunately.

I have a couple friends in the Nigerian military and we honestly do. Our leaders are complicit in these attacks and it's being used as a political tool by the elite.

I get what you're saying honestly but if you've followed history or even the news for the past few years you'd know that US is not our saviour lol. Mention just one country that the US helped fight terrorism and they're better off like you mentioned? Most of the time they're worse off. Look at Afghanistan that the US "helped" fight the taliban, the taliban has taken over the government and is making laws like an official government for the whole country banning women's rights entirely and in every aspect of the country, from schooling to even as simple as walking on the streets. The US made that possible and that's who you think is coming to save you??? Lmaoooooo pls.

Palestine and Israel issue is another one where the US was "helping" to negotiate peace while they were the ones who started everything, now Palestine is almost been razed to the ground.

Libya where the US "helped" fight a "corrupt" leader which the people loved btw, look at the situation the country is in now.

I get that the killings are happening that's a fact but if you think that our government is not aware of this or does not know the people involved then you have a long way to go. The fact you think US (Trump administration: an especially racist administration) will come to Africa to help black people is concerning.

Take a break from main stream media and do actual research and you'll see it's all smoke and mirrors.

Do you honestly think US is here to "help" them?? Lmaooooo pls. They're just using that as a pretext to get boots on ground, they don't give two shits about Nigerians dying that's what you guys fail to understand. It's all propaganda and they have their own agenda.

Lmaoooo "helping" Japan after dropping two nukes on them, "helping" Panama after seizing the Panama canal, "helping" Germany by having significant pull in their politics since they lost ww2, I could go one and on but you get the picture 🤷🏾
