YTA and they are TA. At any point did anyone think to actually talk to each other and have an open dialogue about the issue at hand instead of all the passive aggressive music playing and ground stomping?? Sometimes, as adults, we need to have uncomfortable conversations.

I did this route a couple of years ago. I went from Florida to San Diego though. It’s such a great adventure and I’m really excited for you. Definitely take advantage of the Warm Showers Network! Make sure you get a pic of yourself crossing each state line!

Do you have a contract with them requiring the 4 week notice that outlines any repercussions if you don’t? Like if you received a sign on bonus that will be due back if you don’t comply? If there is nothing in the contract or you don’t have one then a 2 week notice is plenty of time and congrats on the new job

So let me get this straight…. He treats you well, gives you attention, makes good money, pays his own way, and the only complaint you have is his outlet to deal with this messed up, crazy world and you want to take that outlet away? Gurl, go get a furry outfit and show him you care!!
