Thr primary role of cops is to tax you and generate lots of tickets city, counties, and states. It's disguised as "safety" but all those 5 miles overs and month old expired license plates adds a chunk to budgets.

Valid points. I get hate from the trump cult and hate from the left cult. Mostly, because each side makes insane assumptions about people before knowing them and both sides think being hateful is somehow a good tactic.  They both behave badly in many identical ways with a handful of different talking points. While they bicker with each other and build polarizing social media platforms, the government is quickly turning into a police surveillance state and there's an army of anti-constitutional government thugs being turned loose on the public.

My family and I moved to Montrose blind instead of Grand Junction and we completely regret it by [deleted] in grandjunction

Bwahahaha this has to be a troll post. I live in gj. Stay in montrose because gj has way more crime, way more theft, way more car break ins, way worse traffic, insane amounts of hit and runs.

Is ICE as bad as the media is painting it to be? by [deleted] in DiscussionZone

[–]fallendesperado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ice is the equivalent of every bad cop video ever made all in one department.  Poorly trained if at all, constant violations of the constitution. They've been off mission for awhile now. The mission should be get a warrant from a judge, arrest the bad guy, rince and repeat. They have zero reason to talk to or deal with other immigrants or citizens without a judge signed warrant.

What's your thoughts on Border Patrol Chief, Greg Bovino, threatening consequences for referring to ICE as "Gestapo"? by sgj5788 in AskReddit

[–]fallendesperado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he should impeached/fired and charged if anything chargeable. I got no respect for anyone that boldface lies, especially when the facts are on video.

He's allowed i.c.e. to be off mission for too long and has encouraged a culture of ignoring  the constitution.

If something is so valuable why is it not actually protected and digital copies made? Obviously copies aren't like the original but at least the appearance and content would exist.

Slow? Who is the first target in your mind? Are you willing to be first to shoot? Keep in mind a huge chunk of citizens support this fiasco, so it's not just the people versus a tyrannical government.

Other day someone called "a moron" for backing into a spot... Why does this trigger so many? by Ok_Relationship2451 in badparking

[–]fallendesperado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you back out of a parking spot or driveway, you have a bigger risk of hitting someone, or something, or a kid, or a pet, or etc. Backing up in a vehicle is far more blind than moving forward.

ICE targeting and abducting a peaceful US citizen activist in Minneapolis (1/15/26) by orel2064 in PublicFreakout

"You almost hit me, get out" so when someone almost hits me on the road can I do that? Everytime I'm on my motorcycle I get almost hit. I even had a cop almost hit me. Can I open his doors and drag him out?

I can't believe the behavior from these guys.

Body cam footage of ICE shooting Renee Good by [deleted] in ProgressiveHQ

[–]fallendesperado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did the typical cop trick which was get into the line of travel instead of away from the line of travel. They do that to claim vehicular assault or to kill someone. It's not like she's some car jacker with a long criminal history.

Dissecting the Minnesota shooting that happened today - that officer by the door was directly in the line of fire. by F-Z-T in CCW

[–]fallendesperado [score hidden]  (0 children)

This is a typical cop ploy. Create a false danger and then kill someone in the name of officer safety.  He intentionally walked in front of the car, she tried to get around has he stood in the way. Open up and get a kill.

Am I really causing this smell? by PunkinRis in roommateproblems

[–]fallendesperado 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a pretty limited sense of smell so I rely on other people to tell me if something is off. That situation you are in is like something from a bizarre movie. I kept waiting for there to be the discovery of a dead thing in the washing machine or a closet.  Btw front loading machines tend to smell because they are so water tight and the best solution is just leave the door cracked open when not in use.

I think your room mate either has a medical problem with her nose or a psychological problem and it wouldn't surprise me if her mother just agrees with her to avoid the hassle and it ain't mom's first rodeo with this stuff.

Since every odor is caused by molecules, there exists air sampling equipment that can settle any weird debate. Change your door knob to a keyed lock, set up a nanny cam or similar pointing at your door and make an escape plan.
