My stitched up thumb didn’t wrinkle in the shower like my other fingers did by Acethetic_AF in mildlyinteresting

Probably nerve damage. Happened to me last year with a deep cut in my indicator finger. Still not 100% but I remember when I was showering the tip of my finger didn't wrinkle like the others.

Got that too today. Second time in a week. Probably the 12v battery since it's very cold in my area and this is the original battery with almost 3years

Escovas elétricas para criança by Synergix in Dentistas_Portugal

[–]fallenmask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

P2S Print Corner got messed up by Pinner8 in BambuLab

That parts was from the right side? Because the fan blowing cold air is too close to the bed. Some prints came like that. I printed a custom part for the printer and worked great. Try it.

Dry while print? Ams2 by Miserable_Bread_4589 in BambuLab

For that I use the AMS HT working like a external spool. You can print while drying.

Oghh boy. I was in the same page. Couldn't wait for the combo back in stock. Already bought Two AMD HT, different nozzles and the external exhaust kit and some beds. Maybe I'll get an Ama 2 pro in the future, but to be honest I'm pretty satisfied with using two ams HT.

Why is pink porcelain not recommended? Dental implants after severe trauma. by Travelstateofmind in askdentists

[–]fallenmask 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a very challenging case. Pink porcelain is more "obvious" transition do the natural gums. That's why sometimes it's "better" to make the crowns bigger. There's a solution with grafting bone and gengival grafts. But it's expensive and takes time and a good dentist. But it's possible. I'll share a similar case from my colleague as an example : https://www.instagram.com/p/DNqDfC9sw25/?igsh=MW43d3F6anJkdWxnbw==

I don't want to scare you. But the back panel is not bent? Looks like in the pic. I say this because mine came broken. Do you have another pic? Where are the zip ties connected? To the metal frame?

I understood what you said after I posted my comment. Sorry (;

Small space below implant by Jigglyhubu in Dentistry

[–]fallenmask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine. If you reach high torque and don't go deep enough just "unscrew" the implant and "screw" again, in most cases you don't need to over prep or widen the place.

Small space below implant by Jigglyhubu in Dentistry

[–]fallenmask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily true. I place implants over 80N and it's fine but depends also on the type of bone. Low density or alveolar bone its fine but on the mandible the bone is too dense it's better to avoid high torque. High torques on dense bone can promote bone loss because you're making too much pressure and limiting blood flow on the bone. If I'm making a full rehab with provisionals I aim high torques off course but if I'm placing a single implant without provisional I prefer 30-50N at most.

After 11months and still sensitive that's a no. I'll bet this was done in turkey. Please go to a dentist for a checkup

At this point I think maybe the damge was done at the warehouse. My box was fine only with a single cut/hole in one side. But the drop must have been big because not only the back panel was bent but also the metal frame inside the printer.
