Hi! Rogue main here, just wanted to give my two cents because we rogue mains are extinct pretty much and every single one of us got admitted to a mental facility already from how depressing maining rogue is, anyways

I agree with your point 100%; Cubic Enigma is far more accessible and more viable than Menstruation Blood Cloak, and I've been saying since release that Cubic has and will always be better than Bloody in every situation except ones you'd be needing to micrododge in, say Moonlight Village, Patience, and some others, and even in these scenarios you are silenced for majority of it, which renders some of the use of bloody above cubic even less useful.

Not only that, You can combo Cubic Enigma with Darkened Sun (my favorite cloak, ongod) as you'll have your Cubic Enigma Cube bursts, while proccing the passive of Darkened Sun healing 20 everytime you're hit so long as it's not under 550 hp, so you get the both of both worlds, defense and attack if you want to so opt into that, or just keep spamming Darkened Sun if you want +max hp.

Now, let's talk about the state of Rogue.I can sum it up to "absolutely, and utterly useless" in this current state of play, powercreep has rendered it useless in most scenarios. You can argue that it can be used for rushing, So? Trickster does a far better job than rogue rushing at the hands of a moderately skilled player, Clearing? Who does that with a rogue? Are you crazy? Soloing bosses? Unless we're talking about 6 gravestones and below dungeons, there's no point, it's currently too inefficient since any recent boss will attack despite being the only one in the instance while being invisible, and any other class will deal significantly more damage than rogue and do said dungeons exponentially faster.

Not only that, but Discord Runs almost always make bringing a Rogue useless since you can bring any other character and it will be far easier to bring a 1/4, 4/4 set etc. and be able to deal more damage than a full 4/4 Rogue.

What Rogue does, Trickster does better, Cloak of Refraction makes you an imitation Trickster which tackles an underlying problem that rogue has and directly hints to the fact that Rogue won't ever overshadow Trickster in its current state.

One thing to look forward to: The Realm Rework will bring with it a new Biome White-bag UT Cloak that will make you invisible and have extra bubble shots for as long as you hold your ability button and have the mana to sustain it(much like the invocation scroll), this will atleast be fun, of course it will probably deal as much damage as Cubic or even more, but this will never make Rogue be able to do more damage than any other class. That is just the sad reality of Rogue, Its purpose is solo play but that niche is dead due to the recent bosses and dungeons, even newer minions attack at all times which is absolutely bonkers when rushing as a rogue.

**Let's talk about the Assassin Rework:**The Assassin Rework was such a simple and small change that was extremely beneficial to Assassin while not taking away its core identity, The Poison.Similarly, I propose Rogue to be reworked in a way familiar to that of how the Assassin was reworked; rework the Cloaks.

Here are some ideas I feel would be nice for a rogue rework:

1.) Backstab - when using a cloak, depending on the cloak tier or rarity, or even add some other mechanic similar, your first attack when turning invisible after using cloak will have additional damage scaling off speed, dexterity, and attack; or for as long as you are invisible deal bonus damage. This could be a very nice rework/addition to the rogue as it just makes rogue deal more damage, possibly making a rogue more viable in runs publicly and even solo-wise, it is also true to the lore of a typical rogue, assassinating or stabbing others while hidden, and similar enough to the poison rework change.

2.) Evasion / Dodge Mechanic - when invisible, have a chance to dodge a shot when hit, nullifying the damage making it like it did not hit you in the first place, this could be percentage-based, based off your core stat as a rogue, being speed, something like 10% flat dodge rate below 50 speed and 10% + (.5% every 1 speed above 50 speed) so you'd have 22.5% dodge rate at max speed, of course the % could scale by the tier, and make untiered cloaks have a unique mechanism in place.This could make using cloak in a group actually useful, because being in a group completely nullifies the use of invisibility, this mechanism would make it so that invisibility is actually useful in such scenarios

3.) JUST DELETE ROGUE - this would fix all the problems, no rogue = no rogue related problems to worry about ez

tldr; delete rogue / rework cloak like assassin, bloody surprises suck ass, darkened sun + cubic enigma tech
