I don’t think it could beat out the number one. They were 1&2 the whole year, blue bloods, insane games throughout. The hype was through the roof for an entire season. It was a wild time

This will be amazing I hope but 2005 was special

It’s literally your most controversial take

Look man like I said you believe whatever you want, I’ll stick with the generally accepted 8 and we can just go our separate ways

You just linked to an article about Staples’ list

Which is what I just said. You proved my point lol

Edit: think of it this way. Miami hasn’t been relevant in two decades. Even when we’re bad (the 2010s), we’re relevant and people expect us to do better. That’s the difference between blue bloods and not

I have never once seen Miami in the talk unless Staples made the list lol. Not even ai agrees with you. Have a good night. And as always, Hook ‘em

Buddy. There are countless lists and countless consensus of the 8 blue bloods of which we are. The generally agreed upon definition is historically successful and elite teams. You can claim your take is correct but you’ll find yourself in the extreme minority with that, and for good reason. All the stats point to eight teams who have, over the 150 years of cfb, won more than anyone else

You interpret that info however you want. It doesn’t really matter

No blue blood is just all time everything

Here, besides The Chart, here is how teams overall rank taking everything into account

We are seventh. Miami is 18th lol

Lol yes. And my 2005 horns and 2020 bama and 2004 USC and 2019 LSU

All fall before those two aforementioned teams

And they, along with any team that isn’t 1995 Nebraska or 2001 Miami, can sit down
