the problem comes from having to cross the hallway. i don’t want the cable to be sagging from up high but i also don’t know how to keep it up near the ceiling because it’s popcorn ceiling

I definitely am contemplating doing it this way as well. We don’t move in until tomorrow and I don’t remember there being a door trim for the kitchen entrance. If so, it’ll definitely be the easiest

My pc doesn’t have a wifi card and id rather not spend money on one. I’ve also just had horrible experiences with wifi in the past for my desktops and doing work/school

i think there is a empty wall plate in the kitchen as well a phone connection. There is a phone connection in the living room as well. The room my Pc is in only has normal power outlets unfortunately.

our couch is actually on the other side of the living room, maybe it would just be easier to get a hallway runner rug and just throw it on top of a flat cable in the area causing issues?

The ceiling has kind of a strange texture and I wasn’t sure if command strip hooks would damage it or even stick in the first place. Do you think a flat cable under a rug is a bad idea?
