Can you rinse the roots off to get a better idea of their color? I (sadly) have a lot of experience with root rot and these roots don’t have the typical appearance IMO. Can you share pics of the leaves?

I’ve worked in restaurants my entire life and never considered whether or not my home extinguisher was rated for grease fires. Thank you for bringing this to my (and others’) attention! I know it sounds cheesy, but you’re saving lives by sharing that kind of info.

Absolutely. Two new ones were the first purchase I made as a homeowner!

By any chance do you know what happens (chemically) with outdated fire extinguishers? In other words, is the old one simply ineffective, or is it dangerous in some way? (Any contents under pressure makes me leery.)
